I've always found it interesting that Guerlain and Lancôme are considered designer. If you search their history, they were both established as fragrance houses, which is the definition of niche. And their fragrances are definitely niche-like, with many of them performing a lot better than those considered niche.

I love this line from Guerlain. The price is a turnoff, but when you look at what less reputable brands are charging for fragrances that are not always well blended, it's not excessively expensive. I have many of the ones you mention. I have my eye on "Rose Barbare" and "Cuir Beluga". I can't wait to hear what you think of the latter.

I don't own many Guerlain fragrances. I love and own Spiritueuse Double Vanille and Gourmand Coquin buuut because of you and your birthday haul video, I decided to purchase Tobacco Honey! I jumped on the dollar off amount Neiman Marcus sale! I'm so excited because it will be my birthday gift that is expected to arrive on my birthday, which is November 24, my 39th! I love Tobacco and honey fragrances, so fingers crossed I will love it! Thanks for all the great content and recommendations!

I love this house !! Mon Guerlain Intense is a lifer for me . I recently just decided to pull the plug and purchase Oud nude , Feve Gourmand and Sprituse Double Vanille and Anglique noire (I know I butchered the spelling lol) I decided not to get Tobacco Honey because I’m not sure how I will like it in this warm climate I live in . I also own Gourmand Coquin, Shalimar Milliseme, PERA Granita from the Aqua Allegoria line

My favorite fragrance house is definitely Guerlain. I LOVE Feve Gourmande and I do plan on getting a back up, because I know how Guerlain loves to discontinue their fragrances 🥲🙄 My basic fragrance is definitely Mon Guerlain and sometimes La Petite Robe Noire Intense (the blue bottle). I am also loving my Tobacco Honey and Tonka Sarrapia 75. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your review 🥰, I added Gourmand Coquin , first fragrance of 2023 ❣ they were kind enough to add a bunch of samples and out of my samples I felt like there were a few I would love to add as well , all refined , elegant scents and L'art et Matiere line is supposed to be cleaner , love that 💕

Cuir Beluga is my number 1 scent from this line followed close by SDV. To my nose lthe original SDV is much more boozy than this new line. I know they said it wasn’t reformulated but my nose begs to differ. I was so obsessed with owning Coconut Fizz that I overpaid but, I have it now so I’m content. Enjoyed this video tremendously.

Thank you for sharing, Ayesha. Guerlain is my favorite fragrance house, with Tonka Imperiale and Gourmand Coquin as my top two fragrances. Mon Guerlain wins the award for best all-around fragrance. It is the one scent that I will keep in my collection forever. It's a workhorse. It can be worn at any time, in any place, and for any occasion. And it smells lovely and ladylike - feminine, sexy, and confident; doing the most without doing the most. In addition to the 3 I've named above, I own: Tobacco Honey, Insolence Paris, Le Petite Robe Legere, La Petite Robe Noire, Black Perfecto La Petite Robe Noire, Aqua Allegoria Forte Mandarine Basilic, L'Instant EDT, Mon Guerlain Intense, Cuir Beluga, Spiritueuse Double Vanille, Shalimar, and decants of Cherry Oud, Cruel Gardenia, Musc Outreblanc, Herbes Troublantes, and others.

When I first tried Fève Gourmand it hit different. It didn't 100% smell like the Gourmand Coquin I know and love. I forced myself to try it a second time, it was a better experience. But still, I don't think it's exact to the og.

The one declutter I regret in life is Cuir Beluga lol. My sisters said I smell like an old lady and I was so scared to wear it out after that lol. That was a long time ago, and I have since learned if I LOVE it, its staying lol.

Very classy house. By conservative you meant elegant. Understood. Shalimar is the god/goddess along with Mitsouko (best Oriental ever). Their two best IMO. I am M and been wearing Shalimar for years. No Mitsouko ?? Best Oriental ever. And opposite sex magnet. Oud Nude (suit) is the best of the 3 recents. Kohl is too rough. Tobacco honey (sweater/jeans) is nice but there are other better ones out there.

Spirtueuse Double Vanille deserves to be last. It's way too smokey and incensy. It smells like carmex on my skin I like No. 5 by Rosendo Mateu and Babycat and they are both more wearable than SDV. Guerlain rarely falls short, IMO, but it falls short on SDV. Great list, BTW.
