The French website has the new bottles listed. I’m disappointed the bottles are getting bigger because they’re already quite expensive, and I really enjoy the line. I’d prefer to be able to purchase smaller sizes and have a bigger selection.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Not everyone needs a 100ml bottle, let alone a 200 ml one. However if you think about it, the price per ml is about the same for the 100 ml in comparison with the current 75 ml and actually about a $1 cheaper per ml for the 200 ml. However that one will retail for just over $500!

I got the bad surprise last week. I came to my local boutique to buy Bois d'Arménie and they didn't have anything left except Cuir Beluga and Rose Barbare ... I was told that some changes were coming too to Les parisiennes collection. I heard about these new fragrances too and I think they will be launched as L'art et la matière. So this may be the new design but I hope it doesn't mean that they will replace the previous ones. 😅

Neroli, Iris, Tonka from l'art collection make it to the new releases. Pricing is 100 ml 295 eur, 200 ml 420 eur. Epices Volees is a gorgeous new fragrance coming up, there is also newest Verveine Revolutionnaire on the way. SDV seems not to be making it into the new collection. Noone from sales reps here can't confirm it coming back, other scents yes.

I purchased back ups of 3 (SDV, two xtra Cuir Beluga and Angelique Noir) and I am glad I did, i still have more then half full bottles of y backups but i wanted to have backups in case they reformulate with the new packaging. i am waiting for reviews on the new packaging to see how the juice is.

I found out about this about a month ago. I got lucky and managed to find a backup bottle of Cuir Beluga from Bergdorf Goodman. It's a shame that they are discontinuing all the good ones. Unfortunately I missed out on Chocolate Ganache. By the time I decided to buy a bottle it was gone🥺

I was in Harrods in London already have the new bottles as of yesterday but officially go on sale on the 9th September but they can actually be purchased in Harrods store as of yesterday. Apparently no discontinuation of the fragrances in the collection but some renaming of some of the scents 🤔 EDIT: For those concerned about Spiritueuse Double Vanille this is NOT being discontinued as it is on the UK Guerlain website it the new format. But obviously I cannot speak for US market but I doubt there will be exclusions 🤔

I’m a man and I love to wear Angelique Noire. I’m not a fan of musky creamy vanilla, but this stuff blown my mind away. Good quality, luxurious scent that I never sniff before. I completely fall in love with it.

Actually, the price is pretty much the same if you think about it. Currently, the price of SDV is $260 for 75 ml. This equals out to $3.46 per ml. These new bottles will be $350 for 100 ml, which equals out to $3.50 per ml, so not really any difference at all.

Guerlain is very well known for staying true to the original formula and only making very minor alterations, as required by IFRA and EU standards, but these are virtually undetectable to the average person.

@@texasfan8892 I sure hope that's the case. I do own several fragrances from different lines, and they do seem to change formulae throughout time... Though some changes are to be expected, considering some fragrances are really really old. As you said, modern limitations imposed by the "oh so nice" IFRA really change the game. But yeah, in all honesty, I do agree that Guerlain usually seems to respect their heritage better than many other brands! ☺️

Try Vanille Havane from Les Indemodables. It's not quite the same kind of vanilla as SDV because it's not as sweet but it is a much more realistic interpretation of it. Smells exactly like a vanilla bean to me.

Inside Disneyland In the perfume store, they have all the Guerlain fragrances. They’re an official boutique and the only place I have been able to see the entire private collection. Plus pass holders get their discount!

Today I spoke with a brand representative, and she told me they were in fact changing the bottles. According to her, there will be new bottles with customisable caps (she was kinda fearing the kind of added work it would be to manage client specific combinations loool). She didn't know about sizes, though I read online they were making 50 and 100mL bottles. No idea on pricing either. I asked about possible reformulations, and she told me they weren't changing the formulae or they would have been informed about it... But, imo, that's never really trustworthy information... No mention of changes on the other lines, Elixirs or others... That's all I know right now...

Pronounced “Lar ay la matyair”- definitely not “matié”. The silent e at the end if the word causes the r to be pronounced and the “accent grave” gives the other e a soft sound similar to our short e.

They've done it once, maybe twice if you count them discontinuing those pump sprayers. (Yes, I know you don't literally mean a million times lol but the bottle design for this line has not been changed hardly at all is my point). The only fragrance in the entire collection that has had more than one alteration in its lifetime was Spiritueuse Double Vanille, which originally was in the bottle with the red wax seal. They also had it in these fancy vintage style crystal bottles that were exclusive only to the Guerlain boutique in Paris.
