i have the original meteorites from 1987 ( yep, i am that old) plastic container, still good, still using them, though i did have a long time in between where i didn't use them. Back then there was only one colour scheme available. the originals had actual glitter in the pearl colour, which I don't like, so I purchased a new container a couple of years ago, removed all the glittery ones, and bingo, ready to go for another 30 odd years

I'm a medium-blonde with quite pale skin with tendency to redness, but I'm glad I didn't go with 02 Clair, but I chose 03 medium - especially now, when spring is finally coming. Guerlain has a bronzing pressed powder that’s part of their holiday collection called Terracotta Golden Leopard which looks really close to the pearls that are inside the Terracotta Summerstones. Maybe it has the same formulation and would be good dupe for it.

I loveeeee guerlain meteorites pearl and been using for little over 20 years now .. I collects them myself n I agreed one tub last a lifetime . It’s the only makeup that I know ridiculous increase it values overtime . It’s so worth it though and the quality n the beautiful smells last all day . I think this meteorites pearls is the secret hush hush in the beauty industry they don’t ever advertise but those who used it omg is a lifetime fan . I think is funny how all these celebrities out there advertised their beauty products to be that good n way over price but nothing just crap . My make up are simple n just a finish of this it all I need .

Hi! Great video! one question, I'm thinking of purchasing one but I'm between the light (I guess it is you call Claire) and Medium. I'm light -medium skin tone maybe like your . I would like to use it more like a finishing powder than a Bronzer but I don't want to look pale either. The light one is still too "light'' for that porpoise? Would you used it for your undereye area? mine is too dry. Have a nice day!!

Hi Claudia! 🤗 I suggest you go for the Medium because if you use Claire - it might make you look ashy because it has more white pigments. Medium is my “go to” finishing powder because it has more “warmth” to it. I have oily skin in my T-zone, so I avoid applying it in that area. I do apply as small amount of Medium in my under eye area just for some “omph!”. But if you have dry under eyes, you must get yourself a hydrating eye cream to hydrate it from with in. 😉

Which meteorite tone should I use for olive coloured skin?!

I use Medium on the middle part of my face and Golden at the outer perimeters . I have Olive undertones on my skin as well.

Just found your channel and love your video so I subscribed. Is the meteorite ok to use for someone with oily skin? I usually wear the Estée Lauder matte foundation but was thinking of using the meteorites as a finishing powder.

Hello Maria! To me, it depends on how oily your skin gets. If you want to use the meteorites all over the face, it should be okay BUT it might look too shiny after a few hours because of your sebum production. The thing i have noticed with the Estee Lauder foundations, is that they already tend to have a soft focus effect on the skin when used and when I use Double Wear foundation, I apply the meteorites on top of my cheeks only - that way it “diffuses” the blush that used or on spots on my face where i want to add some glow. I have oily skin as well and the foundation that I used on the video is a Maybelline matte foundation. I did apply it all over, but only very sparingly. If you do decide to get some Meteorites for yourself, please let me know how it worked for you, okay?

@@af.flo_ yup! I would use it in such a manner! 😉 high points of cheeks and brow bone area. You can also try mixing the Claire with your bronzer. Swirl your brush on your bronzer first, then swirl it on Clair before you apply it on your face. That might help to “warm” up Clair.

There’s actually an expiry date on the box. I don’t use mine when it is more than 5 years old - just for safety reasons. And the colors eventually fade. But out of curiosity, I did try my oldest meteorites in my collection - my skin didn’t breakout. 🤣 But it’s always better to be safe than sorry 😉

@@nidashaikh8390 Hello Nida! It was a good experience overall. I am a VERY oily skin gal and generally don’t use luminous products on a daily basis. I tend to gravitate towards Charlotte Tilbury’s pressed powders and One Size’s loose powder (recent release) for all over face powders. I hope my response is helpful! 💕

It was! The pearls can color correct to a certain degree, but when you mix all these colors together it becomes a beige powder.
