This is a really nice review to watch, and even better, this is an amazing review to listen given the rhythm of your words and how you use them to create phrases that describe a fragrance in a way that the listener has not other option that materialize a very clear picture of your definitions, this is a review that is worth to check twice at least, not because is not clear but because it would be a shame if you lost something, thanks for sharing.

Hi Rich any thoughts on the new Guerlain Vetiver Parfum ? Does it display any kind of characteristics of the original 80’s/90’s version which I’m craving. I have read mixed opinions that the new parfum is very similar to the original Vetiver EDT, or at least, that was the first impression. The opening is refreshingly bright and fresh then smoky ? Thanks

I know what are different fragrances, but which one would you choose between Habit Rouge and Vetiver? And between Eau Sauvage and Chanel Pour Monsieur?

Eau sauvage and vetiver for me. All classics though, so you can't go wrong. It's just personal taste. The pour monsieur edt smells terrible on me but the edp is amazing. Skin chemistry is weird 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@RichMitch I have all of them in their original formulation and I am happy with them. I'm wearing PM today and it smells great on my skin. Yesterday I bought a backup bottle of Vétiver edc. As you say, you can't go wrong

Is the listerine bottle worth it? I’ve seen a few ridged bottle testers on eBay, without cap🙃,asking a bit much for a tester.

It was a lady who was also a pilot, I don't have the book (The Ghost Perfumer by Gabe Oppenheim) to hand but it is stated in there. The book is a really good read, would recommend

Mate, it looks like a flanker from Vetiver collection, the bottle looks like 2004 version Vetiver Frozen aka Eau Glacee

It isn't, the Eau Glacee has "Eau Glacee" written on the bottom. This doesn't. The Vetiver Extreme flanker also came in this bottle but had "Extreme" written on the bottom. The ribbed style bottle was introduced in the early 2000s and replaced when they put the mens line back in to the listerine style bottles that were discontinued recently

Now - I HATE vetiver, I hate the root, the stem, every single bit if it's on the forefront. It makes me want to hurl. Too deep. Too disgusting. Somehow Guerlain's current version of Vetiver manages to dance around it all and makes it bearable. Would never buy it, though.
