We visited Guernsey about 15 years ago and stayed at the Duke of Richmond! I also recognised the small convenience store where we dropped into a few times! For anyone reading this, we'd thoroughly recommend the hotel, Guernsey and the Channel Islands overall. Hopefully, we'll get to go again sometime soon! Thank you for posting these videos. It's a great reminder of how beautiful Guernsey is.

The Parish of st. Peter Port, quite a long name for a locality, very beautiful place however it looks more like a place for the extreme rich rather laid back & basking in their legacy, wonderful. Thank you for the tour sir.🙏🤝

If you go down Vauxlaurens (minute 8:50) I think you get to La Fregatte Hotel. But wouldnt recommend taking your van down there ...

Back in 2001, I came over to assist the Guernsey Police as they were short of officers. The island is beautiful, enjoy what you have, it is a fantastic place.

Hi, Ross, if you had have turned left down Vauxlaurens lane, Randall’s Brewery was at the bottom right as you would meet St. Julian’s Avenue, albeit I think they have turned it into apartments, I worked in the brewery for two years 1975- 1975.

very nice hotel stayed in June 23 when we came but staying at another hotel when we come in August 23. The Peatite hotel on the seafront hope it is nice too.

Lovely walk . I met my hubby at The Duke of Richmond....1979 and we're still together 😉 The 1st house you mentioned ( with top balcony) used to be staff quarters for the hotel. I played softball on the park...many moons ago. Many happy memories thanks Ross.

Ps, in 75/76 lived at a guy called Alf , he had a guest house 62 Hauteville , stayed in the winter there between working seasons on Herm , with my past partner Dawn , he was the organist also at The Duke of Richmond 👌

I enjoyed this walkabout. Although I have never been to Guernsey, I visit a lot of property sites. The house you passed at 7:41, Regency style, if not the same house looks quite similar to a listing I saw a few months back. Thank you Ross for taking us on this walkabout. I refer to these visits as "In the Kitchen with Ross," because it is when I am preparing meals, etc., that I watch your videos🙄

How many electric cars are there in Guernsey? Charging stations?

Hi, I’m not sure how many electric cars we have but they are on the increase. There are public electric vehicle charging sites such as North Beach, Salerie and Odeon car parks, and another charging station at La Crocq Pier, St Sampson.
