I love that piece of performance art you arranged with those two actors coming out of La Valette museum. Brilliant!

Really nice walk!!! Thank you for that one, I like the road and the views and I do hope the stairs will be repaired - well, some day.....😅 Last vist to the Aquarium was in 2017, really sad it's closed for good! And a big YESSS to your question, if I could live in Guernsey!!! If only I could!! Every visit feels like coming home somehow, can't wash the happy grin off my face! But that's just a dream. I keep coming for holidays and try to do that more often and let Guernsey heal my soul. It always does ❤

Always thanks for your content, La Vallete a favourite place, I know it has been modernised, looks lovely. Enjoyed your content from Hotel de Have let, recognised every square inch. May have said before, Copenhagen was the name of Wellington's horse. The bar below was called the Wellington Boot. As a child, we stayed at Hotel de Have let from 1965 to 1970. Seemed all the dad's had fixed holidays so met the same kids each year. We reconvened each year and got Jean the taxi driver to drop us off at Le Jeonnet and pick us up later. So grateful for your footage, especially during the pandemic, so eased the itch wanting to come back. Have seen how Guernsey still looks good in winter, will return in the off season. Again thanks for your input!

Hi again Ross lovely walk , don’t know if you remember there used to be a fish farm someone set up in a few greenhouses linked together ,beautiful tropic like plants & streams running thru full of koi & other fish, unfortunately someone got in & poisoned all the fish so it had to close

The building on top of the café, is used for corporate events, birthday parties, that sort of thing. Available for hire. The museum tunnels were a German oil storage facility during the occupation. Its not a house, above the aquarium, its the Clarence Battery. German gun emplacement. To access it, you now need to go via the cliff walk.

Such a shame that something isn't done about the path up to the Battery (laughed when I read it was under repair it's been like that for years) - and that closed Aquarium - not a good look for tourists. Other parts really need some attention as well. Fantastic views though and a great walk thanks Ross. Just before you mentioned rabbits one scuttled out of your way into the grass - check it out.

another nice spot in Guernsey, really looks like they try to keep it nice as well, though people seem to leave there litter about and it is so easy just to take your rubbish home with you instead of leaving it for somebody else, cheers Ross nice video.

👍👍 another great walk around video Ross, know the area well, lovely walk, especially late afternoon/ early evening, lovely views of the castle and the other islands. Usually walk upto Clarence battery also, but the path was closed last time (Aug 2022)... looks like nothing much has changed

When did the aquarium close? We went there when we were over there in 2019. Didn't go to that museum but did go to the other one at La Vassalerie and the Occupation Museum in Les Houards Forest.

Hi Richard, if you are going to Herm or sark you can just turn up or book a few days before. If it’s something like I rib trip I would book that in advance. Thanks Ross
