Thanks Ross. My wife and I had over 20 years of annual visits to Guernsey which we enjoyed very much as we used to bring our car on the Condor ferry with us. The drive from Portelet Bay and the Imperial Hotel along the west coast to L'Eree, Cobo Bay etc was always a favourite of ours and you have brought back many happy memories, thank you.

As a lad with mum and dad, I first visited Guernsey in 1966, the day of the World Cup final (West Ham 4 West Germany 2. ⚒)………since then my wife and l normally return every 2/3 years……my daughter has done the marathon twice and l have been entrusted to push bike at various stages of the run to supply her with water, oh joy. ….!!!!!! 🥵. We really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.

Just found your videos and they're great! I only visited once in 1974 and fell in love with the island. I stayed at Morley Methodist Youth Hostel so was more on the East Coast I think? We had a beach barbecue at L'Ancresse though. Fab!

Really love your videos! We come to guernsey most years on holiday since I was a child and when I watch your videos it’s like being the driver or passenger of the car off on our little journey :) the videos help with escapism as it’s been a long while since we were able to come! I've had amazing memories of going to guernsey every year and it's amazing! Probably the best memory actually isnt on this but the candle making shop! I now have 6 candles! But the rocquaine regatta (if that's how u spell it) is the best! Especially in the evening watching the sunset go down!

When we were there in the 80's I remember watching stock car racing on a beach along the west coast. Can't for the life of me remember where though.

Isn’t Grand Mare being changed into a bigger complex? Vazon great kite flying. Is that still crabby jacks in the right? Used to get fish n chips and sit in beach at Cobo. Had very interesting wedding at Cobo hotel and are used to be another hotel close by we had an Indian restaurant in it and we went for a meal in there and the chef pulled a knife on until the chef police were called!

Good memories again ross as you drive through my old stumping ground having had good times in both the imperial and L'ree hotel its a shame things have to change although the imp as we knew it still looks the same ,but tell me this if you can , is Vazon bay hotel still there? and also Le houmet tavern both had great bars, or are theses closed too? Great drive yet again definitely one of the better ones thanks again for your time and its so good to see the island back to normal and that locals are breathing some life into the restaurants and bars once again.
