This is a compilation video of clips taken during a day trip to Herm Island on Friday April 7th 2017.
It was a beautiful spring day with just a slight haze, so typical at this time of year in the Channel Islands.
This was a collaboration trip between myself and Guernsey Tom, so please check out his KZbin channel too for more clips from this trip.

The video clips were mostly taken using a DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone, plus some were taken on a Go Pro Hero 5 Black and a Panasonic HC-VX980 camcorder.
We are especially grateful to both Herm Island and Travel Trident for giving us permission to fly and film our day trip to Herm.
I will be making some more videos from other footage taken during this trip, and would love to return later in the summer to capture the island when the summer foliage is in place.

Lovely video reminds me of the last time I went there with my daughter her husband and with my sister I was born in Guernsey in 1947 miss the lovely islands

I know the feeling mis going to alderney a couple of years but hopefully 🙏 this year I will .and love to visit sark and herm for the first time with my parent's that moved back to alderney 17 year's ago my family's birth place ❤ and visit Guernsey 🇬🇬 to place flower's for the family member's we have lost

Now planning to visit in September now that travel to the UK has opened again. Hope the Guernsey islands were able to weather the pandemic well. A bit like being cut off in WWII.
