Nowhere else like Sark, best place on earth. No cars, no paved roads, no street lights, no vat/tax/social deductions, slow and easy way of life, good fishing, scary cliffs… And the first Dark Sky island in the world, and for very good reason. Been visiting every year for over forty years, got married there a couple of years ago and I intend having my ashes scattered there.❤

My brother moved to the islands 25 years ago, and he now has his own business and family! I haven't been to sark in nearly 10 years, but it is a absolutely lovely island, very nice people and a truly great place to relax and enjoy a holiday!

I worked there in 2002 as a horse and carriage driver. I loved it. Shame the barely brothers ruined it. Bought most of the island out and shut them down so their main hotel doesn't have competition.

@@TheJay1471wrong. They offered the locals sums of money to have a greater say and they took it. So don’t correct people when they’re right and especially when you don’t know whether you’re talking about. And btw, I used to work for the Barclays, gives me a better insight to them than you I think.
