My friend and I called scrap pistols Panic Pistols. Scrap pistols still are useful even after you get better weapons since pistols can still be carried as a secondary backup weapon. Whenever my friend and I got into a jam we would drop our good rifles and pull out our awful scrap pistol and use the Panic Fire rule to mag dump two extra shots into someone at half range. Afterwards the scrap pistol would be out of ammo but we would be just fine and go back to using our nice rifles. Panic Pistols were the low-key heroes in our armory.

I got so addicted to this game I ended up creating a channel JUST for it hahah It's very easy to make stories out of the rolls Now, funny that when I saw this video come up and I was like "Wait, didn't he do that already?" :D

Thanks for the video! I love 5PH, been playing a campaign mixing turns using miniatures and using VTT... Always super fun. Please note that Ranged Combat and Brawl rules are different from 5LB, the Combat mod always applies and there is no Dueling!!!

I have had a lot of fun with this playing through with a friend (3 crew each) - we're upping the difficulty thanks to picking up some pretty good guns in our first few missions, but the random nature and general vibe of the game make it a really rewarding game - looking forward to seeing your games!

This is one of my favorites for sure. FPfH made playing skirmish games by myself not so weird during the Covid event. The bug hunt version is fun also, it has a lighter campaign element making it fun for one off games. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Nit Pic: The Feeler rolls twice on the "Motivation" Table rather than the "Backgrounds". So, using their die rolls, the Feeler would come from a (01) Peaceful High Tech Colony, and their motivations would be (59) Loyalty and (27) Escape; so still River Tam 😄 AI Companion? FAST PANDA!

Love this game, I've been playing through the intro missions in the dlc Trailblazers Toolkit. I use a lot of infinity minis and battle systems core space terrain. So much fun. 🍻

Love watching these videos and learning about new systems, keep up the good work! also you're third character should have two savvy (+1 from discovery and +1 from working class), and you should have 4 extra gear not 3 (+1 from 2nd character discovery, +1 from 3rd character discovery as well, the missing one, +1 from 4th character drifter, and 1 more from 5th character industrial world) from character creation, for a total of 5 gear. Lastly, you forgot the feeler gives an extra d6 credits.
