Another note, if your opponent had taken Make Them Suffer he would have scored 3 points since Make them Suffer states that if you have no minion or peon's in play they score 1 VP also, meaning over the entire game your opponent could have scored 3VP easy if he took the scheme. Since crews are announced before choosing schemes he could have had an easy win. Again great game, but looking forward to some more games at the typical 50ss level and where people take schemes which can maximize their points. Well done, love this stuff. Keep it up!

Oh shoot, I've seen a painted crew on PmP, found out the name of the game and ended up here (as always ;)) These models are so incredible. Still stumbling through their products. I have to start this game. Thanks for the video please keep them coming in 2016 as well!!!

I enjoyed the video. The only thing I can recommend is to flip the duels in a separate space and then move the cards to discard pile after the completed duel. This way its not confusing on what cards was flipped.

Also perdita can't just walk out of McCabe's melee range. She would have to succeed at a disengagement strike.

***** It's a great game! I think my favourite bit is you don't write lists. You pull pieces from your collection to try to tackle the scenario at hand. Really makes planning purchases easy... you buy what you like! :)

Great video...just a heads up a Black Joker does not mean you auto fail. Still should always check duel totals. If the person who flipped the BJ still has a higher Df/Wp he/she may be winning the duel forcing the opponent to cheat. Keep that in mind.

Other than that I was very happy to see how a lot of Guild models work since I'm not playing them and it's useful to know their tactics. Very entertaining batrep and I can't wait to see more!

Something i noticed. Was there a disengage strike when 'Dita left McCabe's engagement range? Also, There's a crew creator, scheme generator app available if anyone wants. Good Batrep, wonderfully painted models. Keep it up. Dita is OP lol.

Can't shrug off "slow" before it has done its effect. Slow makes you generate one less AP and you can not do any action (no not even 0-actions) before you have generated AP for your activation.

I heard about this new place, Lords of War, but thought it was only a series of tournaments Chris hosted. Does this mean Chris isn't managing the Yonge & Lawrence Games Workshop anymore? I'm going to be that guy. So actullllly, in Malifaux M2E you can only chain together 2 models, so you can no longer chain together the entire family without the opponent getting to go. Cool vid though.

I'm brand new to Malifaux but I think someone told me you can never activate more than 2 models before your opponent has a chance to activate one ever, and in turn 2 you did like 4 activations before letting your opponent go. Also, I might have seen you do more than one 0 action with a model a couple times.

I don't think that it effected the end game of this battle very much but the guy at my FLGS that did the demo game with me told me a story about when they tried to do more than 2 in an activation period "just to see" and he said it broke the game. That is one thing I love about this game so far over 40k and Infinity. There seems to be a lot of effort to internally balance the game's rules while effectively giving LOTS of flavor to each different factions. Even the cross faction models have a ton of uniqueness to them, which is awesome. Allows for tons of force customization and fluffy goodness.

Percy Hudson Correct.... The chain activation from first edition was extensively tested prior to M2E. Given the new interactions and balancing of weaker models, activating a chain is very game-breaking. Further, Perdita and other control masters had additional changes to prevent breaking like limiting Obey-like actions to one attack. The new rules are nice. I am still a fan of first edition over M2E but I am loving what M2E is. The reason why first edition is still my favourite is because themed crews were more pertinent. Henchmen used to only be able to take certain models from a "special forces" theme-pool. In M2E, I strive to limit my choices to themed models with Henchmen and Masters. Sure, it is a weaker build strategy, but it is more fun to me...win or lose.
