It's been a minute since I read the rules, but the way I remember the spear traps, you get a roll to dodge it and it can only go off once.

@@geerstyresoil3136 Yeah every episode he does at least a few things wrong, some are pretty significant. He missed to place out at door to the room with grey tiles along the corridor they move down at 33:55 (something he's done in a few previous episodes as well).

Another difference between the UK and US editions; my copy doesn't have Chaos spells - the sorcerer just takes one of the four sets of spells that the wizard and elf use.

When I played this one, the fire mage got off all his spells it was glorious. Your fire mage died way too fast, sort of like my witch lord...

My biggest issue with Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower was how unbelievably easy the game was. Watching this series is making me realize that's pretty much in keeping with the original.

Just keep in mind it's a game system, when a group gets too powerful I, as Zargon, add more door foyer traps and more enemies if necessary.

I guess it is because we combine the european version with the american rules, but there it is made so that only one of each item may be bought. It prevents adventurers from rolling five defense dice so easily. How do you even manage to die, if you are a barbarian with five defense dice?

We do the same. Using the UK cards for equip (and NO LONGSWORD until Ogre Horde) is something I highly recommend. The quests are actually sometimes still pretty easy because of the way the bosses are positioned (see as an example this quest: if they put another bodyguard, even a skeleton in front of the Fire Mage could have made the difference) and because of action economy+initiative for the heroes (Escape could have been made to trigger in any moment, teleporting the Fire Mage even if killed and healing it, or something in between).

I have a question. If a hero finds a potion while searching for treasure, can this carry over to next quest if not used as there is only 24 cards in total.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames it would be good to see a battle of the witch lord. I have all the ad ons except the ogre. I could never find that one. My favourite book i think is the first or second where you enter from the side of the board instead of a room. One good battle is where the enemy roll a dice on his turn to see how many monsters come in from the side door. Heroquest is my favourite all time game

isn't this set in the warhammer universe? Shouldn't a barbarian be from the north, and therefore be loosely affiliated with chaos? The Barbarian should see the chaos warriors and be like; "hey, that's Steve from three villages over!"
