Droids gettin done so dirty due to the misunderstanding of impact. UPDATE after watching the rest of the match. This misunderstanding favoured clones SOO HARD. So many crits on dooku and b1s that shouldn't have been critical. Also mauls sabre throw should be 4 red. You use half the number dice in half not the colour of dice. Also you cant "short move" when engaged. To move while engaged (unless you have disengage keyword) you must use both move. Droids would have won this, for sure, if the rules, especially impact were used right.

Love the reports keep them coming. Just for future, if AI doesnt kick in u still get 2 actions. Force push is measured at range 1 but is a speed 1 move (small movement tool). Also if u displace your own units (sabre tank) u still get a suppression and lastly impact only applies when attacking units with armor and after dodge and cover. Hope u don't mind the tips. 🤯

Fun to watch but rules way wrong Visit rules for: disengage (while engaged cant move unless you spend 2 actions), impact (only effects armored units), clone troopers (clones can only share tokens with other clones you didnt violate this rule but talked about it with the wookies and sharing Anakins surges with the arcs), strafing (while strafing use 1 speed lower than your max speed), scatter (scatter only lets you move non leader minis, not perform a speed 2 move with an enemy unit), I'm sure there are more i missed but a major refresh of the rules would be worth it. So new people to the hobby aren't disappointed when they find out that's not how the rules work.

When he did the speed 2 move on the clone unit he didn't use scatter he used the ability on dookus 3 pip card which does let you move a unit speed 2 after you use your lightening

Impact does not make hits into crits on troops. It will only do that if the unit you are shooting at has the Armor keyword.

I’m fairly certain cover happens before crits are converted but half of mauls dice pool on a saber throw is 4 reds. Not 2 and 2

Loving the Legion stuff. Just fyi. Blue player uses their battle deck, but red player gets to pick table side and bans 2nd. That way they get the final Veto to better influence what gets played.

Hi there and thank you very much for sharing your games. I just wanted to say, while performing a strafe you have to reduce the speed by 1 to a minimum of 1 (RRG p. 77). The Saber-class tank can only make a move 1 sideways.

Love seeing Legion on the channel, awesome board/terrain set up. Just a note strafe on the Saber tank reduces your speed by one to a minimum of one so it actually strafes at speed one. Good game and vid 👍😁

@19.11 you force pushed clones into combat even though force push is a speed 1 move not a range 1 move so dooku wouldn't have been able to pull those clones into combat. Impact only works on units that have armour. Droids without a faceup order token still get 2 actions in their activation they just have to do whatever the ai action on their card says first if they can if not then do whatever. models and map looks cool though

Beautyfull terrain and wonderfully painted models and very swingy game aswell. Just a heads up the flaw card is played before command cards are revealed not after other than that the only major rule miss was one i also used to make impact makes crits on armor only and is applied after dodge and cover so the armored unit has chance to use either.

They are strong, but 1) need to sneak behind a cover a little more with them and jump-scare on opponent, and/or 2) work best with 2-3 squads (wookies or other melee units like jedi), so even when 1 is blasted to dirt, other two nuke the opponents forces - but player has to do those charges in good moment, to avoid being shoot on approach one-by-one (but this apply probably to any game that has mixed melee-ranged types of units)

those movement tools fit perfectly into the notches - and then you paint the bases and they stick! i sanded the edges of the tools a touch to stop that.

excellent reports, really love your legion content. I don't think scatter attacks let you move a unit leader though, just lets you re-cohere the unit you shot at. in other words, Dooku couldn't have force pulled that unit into melee with him. Also, impact converts hits after applying dodge and cover, so cover stops hits before they turn into crits, in other words you can't get through cover with impact by shooting an armored target (Dooku doesn't have armor, so using impact against him is erroneous). Lastly, hunter doesn't activate on one wound units that are missing a guy, hunter only works on multiwound units that have a wound token, an an example, a full wookie unit that has one or two wound tokens activate hunter and give any attacker who has the upgrade an aim token, but when that unit gets down to the last wookie in the unit, hunter doesn't activate if he's at full health.

I do however WISH the impact worked the way you guys played it (I used to especially wish it before the invention of the critical keyword), if it did, I don't think the developers would have ever needed to add the critical keyword to the game and I don't think errata would have needed to reduce the AT-RT's canon to 10 points and I don't think the hh-12 or rebel ion trooper would have needed points reduction. What the game would have needed if they went that route instead of adding the critical kewyword would be some sort of impact negation on vehicles with armor AND built-in-cover like the t-47

Ash, I’m enjoying the fact that you have/are embracing Legion. Question at the 10:15 Mark when the B-1s fired on the BARC speeder, wouldn’t the BARC speeder got the cover from the barrier. From that angle it seems like they had to fire through the barrier and unless your leader is on the barrier the cover counts, correct?
