Mark Wahlberg was originally in New Kids On The Block but quit. I was a fan of NKOTB and then Donnie Wahlberg helped his brother with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. I had both of their cassette tapes but the first one was better. I also saw him in concert on February 14, 1991. I remember that because my Mom told me my 2 year old niece wanted to wait up for me and knew I was going to the concert. She was so cute! "Tell me a story" I said "About what?" she says "Marky Mark concert... was he loud? I wouldn't like it?" I told her "Yes it was loud, you would not like it" then she says "When I'm 5 I can go?" EVERYTHING she could do was at 5 years old! 🤣 So cute!

Actually not, the first English release of Torn was by Ednaswap that originally wrote the song. They released it in 1995 where as Trine Rein released her version in 1996, before Natalie did her version in 1997. The first released version of the song was Brændt by Lis Sørensen from 1993 which was with Danish lyrics. The song was written by Ednaswap band members all the way back in 1991 and they perfromed it on stage, but as mentioned above they didn't release it until 1995.
