Some of these being considered Boomerang shows made me feel really old! The 90s and early 2000s ones I could understand, I remember them being on Boomerang, but Adventure Time threw me for a loop! It’s a shame Boomerang isn’t what it used to be, though. I grew up watching a lot of the old stuff through Boomerang, and now all they really play is Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, some iterations of Scooby-Doo, occasionally Flintstones, and whatever’s currently on regular Cartoon Network.

When I heard the Adventure Time theme, that's where I drew the like in what counts as Boomerang programs. The Hanna-Barbera library, Tom and Jerry, and Looney Tunes? Those are givens. Both Garfield and Heathcliff? Well, those shows are old enough to count in this modern age. The Cartoon Cartoons? They got their start as the last few Hanna-Barbera programs. Chowder, Flapjack, Ben 10, and The Secret Saturdays? Even those count, because their final episodes were quite a few years back. Adventure Time and Uncle Grandpa?!? No thanks! You might as well put the theme to Teen Titans Go! in this guessing game, while you're at it!

When I heard the Adventure Time theme, I too was like, "Surely not..." But the show is probably over a decade old at this point, and is probably the only somewhat new Cartoon Network show worth watching. Shows that nobody watched to begin with, even though they are old, should have never tried to be rebooted on Boomerang, and is largely part of why they, and many other TV networks are losing money. The other part of it is streaming services. Compared to what other streaming services offer, CN is just not able to compete, especially with the amount that you get from Disney, Funimation and Hulu. If Funimation were to become part of the "Disney Bundle", it would become the ultimate bundle and no other service would be able to compete with it.
