Me and my kids actually play dice chess. We role the dice, and whatever piece it lands on has to be either moved or captured (if King is rolled, you can move your king or give a check). The only exceptions are if the dice role does not allow a legal move or if your king is in check. 1 = Pawn 2 = Knight 3 = Bishop 4 = Rook 5 = Queen 6 = King
