I find it crazy how many songs that don’t receive any play time in North America chart in other countries. My wife and I do quite a few British quizzes and many times have never heard certain bands or songs that come up. We have to google the song or artist and find they have never made the top 100 here.

Completely agree, it always amazes me some of the songs that do and don't make it across the pond. Likewise the other way when I find songs then were seemingly huge in the US & Canada, that had virtually no success in Europe. I've never really looked into it enough to know if it's purely down to music tastes, or maybe it's something deeper with record labels/producers. Either way, I always like it when people are interested enough to look up the songs they don't know, so kudos to you for that!

I think that's a common theme with this quiz type. I often wonder if I should just stop at 1999! Glad you did well before that though 👏
