The recent 2.1 patch took an 1hr 40 mins for me which is about 20 minutes longer than reinstalling it fuckin suuucks

sounds like they think Cathay is a bit OP atm. Also (iirc) they didn't have any meaningful lore until the game fleshed them out, so the boys didn't have the nostalgia connection to it to begin with, and the lore that did exist was pretty silly...

They feel no connection to the Cathay-section of the map, and didn't really enjoy the factions that were over there. Their experience with the campaigns taking place over there were pretty rough, which might have left a bitter taste in their mouth aswell. I think they appreciate that CA added the new factions, but haven't quite warmed up to them. Might still feel like fan-fiction to them. :P

Wow, Disney did a REALLY terrible job putting it out there how Palpatine returned, didn't they? Long story short, they copied Dark Empire but did it way worse. Palpatine had clone vessels waiting in essentially stasis, and he used a force power that I think Darth Plagueis pioneered called 'transfer essence,' where as he was falling in the Death Star he used to send his spirit to a new body. Dark Empire was silly, but did it way better, and actually spelled it out.
