I think the older pants is Pair#2 because of the Patch. However, 10% of levis product has a Blank Red Tab (Pair#2) and if the Red Tab is All Capital Letter means it is a Premium Item (Pair#1)

#2 was made in the USA in the 1990s. #1 has modern care tags so was made in the last 20 years.

The question is so confused, if you ask which one is actually made older yeah it's #2, but #1 is older if we consider the model year
