Me too can't believe he's grown preacher grooming him to be a good boy. He was a gorgeous baby. Jade too she is the best of both Parents Actually Actually, they both come from legends in their pedigree.

I've been waiting to see a lot more out of Jefe for a long time. It's great that there will be a very good spread of options to really showcase what kinds of genes are mixing up. Levi is a great looking dog and from what I've seen has a great temperament. He loves his people so much it's hard to get him on camera :) Jefe was always fun to watch. He always stayed out of trouble and knew what Rachel wanted. All the other dogs liked him as well. Even preacher loved to play with the guy and preacher doesn't particularly care for goofing around with the younguns. I like seeing this community of breeders working on their own programs and collaborating as well. Congrats CFCC. Looks like Jefe started paying off dividends from day one. If Levi is any example, Jefe is going to be a notable member of the Cane Corso lineage. As a dog, he seems to be the total package -- and the ladies seem to like him as well. Just put them in the kennel and the job is done the day of. Though he seems to take awhile for the engine to cool down XD Knock on wood for continued success. The work that Rachel has done ensuring genetic diversity in her program will minimize any health issues in her productions. She recently spoke about a very inbred Corso (not hers) someone asked her to look up. When reviewing the lines she discovered a lot of inbreeding. The lines were fine but they were so inbred the poor dog didn't have a good shot. So unfortunate. Thanks for being responsible breeders. Rachel has been a credit to dog breeders with how open she is about her failures, successes, and challenges. I binged her content in 2020 because it was a goldmine of pack dynamics. The Corso seems to be coming up as a preferred breed and getting the responsible breeders on the social media front lines will prevent problems which always come with popularity -- backyard breeders who allow greed to destroy the reputations of other breeders and the breed itself. Currently, Dobermans have a genetic issue which they're trying to sort out. It's a heart issue which causes them premature death but isn't as well understood as they'd like. There are a lot of heart broken Dobie owners out there and only the breeders can stop the issue. I don't think they were irresponsible because the problem takes years to manifest and they didn't detect the problem immediately. That gene (or geneset) has been spreading in the breed quietly. Dog breeding is like an art and science -- there are technical and aesthetic considerations. I enjoy hearing the ins and outs of raising the dogs and I enjoy watching their wagging tails. For me, its educational and entertaining.

Really nice looking dogs. It's also fun to see dogs like Jefe, that we know from a puppy, and see where they are now. I remember a few videos back, shortly after Jefe arrived, and how he has improved with the different diet- he was always very difficult

Is it normal for the first time breeding for my male Corso not to be able to complete the breeding? He was having a hard time finding the right spot if you know what I mean? He would get so close too.

Female may not have been just right....the top portion of the vulva needs to be the at the right softness....not too soft, not too hard....if it was his first try, he's probably just trying a bit early(Green male)....keep them together, he'll connect...
