I always find it difficult when movies use mental illness for one of the main characters. This seems like the kind of movie that doesn't put in the necessary research and that can be really harmful for a lot of people actually dealing with schizophrenia. It's perpetuating stereotypes and might make those affected more afraid and reluctant to seek the help they need.
