Honestly, I've been between top 15k to 7k since 2017 and honestly it's really eye opening to see the skill that 5 digits have nowadays. 6 digits these days have 1k pp, which was top 50k back then, which is why it is so surprising to me to see the level of skill and what people can play at lower ranks.

Ranks really do have changed. I was around rank 80k when I could barely do a 4 star map. I can now FC some 4 star maps, pass most 5 stars and even pass the occasional 6 star. My rank is now around 200k Though admittedly, I haven't played in quite a while
