Ohh what kind of society we live in. People are concerned on what others think, but they are the others that judge. You have to be perfect but you are criticized for being that way. Home became the place you escape from, not the place we used to escape to, from the world. Families are enemies. We have standards set by us and we ourselves are unsatisfied with them. If you are ugly, fat or poor you ain't worth, but if you are beautiful, skinny or rich people are jealous and hate you. I really don't get it.

@Lii san I know he's doing this for the sake of his family, but he should at least spend time with his family, the kids don't even know their dad or they don't feel attached to him at all, I want you to put yourself in the wife's shoes. I'd rather live with the debt and pay it back slowly and be with my family than leaving them, he visits his family once every 3 weeks, and I think he does that just to clean his clothes or whatever. I mean visiting them once a week wouldn't affect their paying the debt that much. If he keeps doing that he might end up with depression and even suicide, because all he does is work and nothing more. I feel bad for both the dad and the mom, and also their kids😢

This is the first time i can't be emphatetic with a concern. I don't understand at all the first one... the husband was struggling to pay his debt (100k it's a lot of money, especially for a simple craftman) and now also the debt of his wife. I lived my life watching my parents struggling with the same situation and she should be grateful that he's trying to pay everything AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to have an economic stability not only for him but for all his family. I understand that she feels lonely, that their sons don't have a dad on their side, but how could you ignore the sadness in his eyes, the stress of living in this kind of situation. I don't think he is happy either working every day but what can he do? He has a family, two kids, they all go to school, he pays for their educations, he pays for their living AND he's trying to pay step by step her depts. I think he's more depressed than his wife.

Didn't you hear the sadness when he said at a certain moment of his life he prefered to be alone and avoid her because she was always angry at him. How come nobody asked him if he's happy working 15 hours a day, for seven days a week? If he's depressed as well. Marriage is a commitment, if she can't see the effort he is doing i can't be really emphatetic. They should both had a different attitude during these years, yes, but as a man he feels the responsability to have a financial stability for his family. I saw many times my father struggling without saying anything to me and my mom, he was alone with his thoughts because of their depts. Again, how can nobody asked him what he really feels? Do you think he complains to someone about it like his wife? I don't think so. He's alone as well with his thoughts. They only asked him about his work and why he's doing what he's doing.

@@arahinao4 Wth, of course she yells at him, should she be welcoming him back home with a bright smile and cook him his dinner before he lives for another month? Do you realize what he is doing? A relationship is 2 people not just 1, when you get yelled at you answer back but most importantly try to find a solution at some point by talking out of it, TOGETHER. You don't just avoid the person for 1 month then expect them to be happy when you come back to them without any explanation. He is acting as if she was an annoying mom, not his wife + what you seem to forget is that he has been like that for ever not just since "she yells at him". From what I've seen he doesn't even try to understand how lonely her and her children might feel but instead focus on his own confort. Money isn't everything, yes it's still important but not as much as being loving and caring with the people that love and care about you. Tbh the mental health of his children is what scares me the most right now so even if she was the devil it wouldn't change the fact that he failed as a father by his indifference.

He was working and HE'S STILL WORKING like a cow because he had a dept of 100k.. and after he paid all of it his wife was scammed and he is also paying her dept. I don't think he is living his paradise completely alone and with no one to talk to, while working 15 hours a day. Instead of being thankful of his efforts when he comes home back in the days she yelled at him because he was working to pay their dept. I perceived it like that and i know on my skin how a father, the head of a family, could feel lonely and depressed in this kind of situations. I'm not saying she should've cook his dinner and be sweet but from both side a step of UNDERSTANDING is needed. It's not just about "he is wrong. *He* is only wrong." No. You have to understand both side. He wants to pay their debts to guarantee a financial stability to his family. You can see he is a lovable dad by the way his child rely on him, hold his hand, but AGAIN, he is working like a cow to give them all he can. I'm on my twenties now, i suffered for my father too because he was incapable of showing affection, but now, as an adult, i understand him and what he went through. It's not all black and white in this world. We are all humans and we hurts people we love, but if this man is still with them it means he cares but doesn't know anymore how to rely on his wife, how to talk to her. I hope they will clarify this situation.

From what they said he NEVER made an effort to talk with his wife, which is why she yelled at him at some point because he wouldn't even try to understand how hard it is for her too. +Her being scammed is as much her fault as his so blaming it all on her doesn't seem right. Working hard doesn't mean you can't be present or at least try. He doesn't call, doesn't answer her calls, doesn't help her when she is severely sick, didn't confort her when she gave birth to their two sons, and doesn't even come home when they moved 5 MINUTES away from his factory. So i'm sorry if i seem harsh but for me work just sounds like an excuse, because he doesn't want to face his family. My mom works her butt off too + she alo has a lot of debts but it never kept her from being my mom and doing her best even if it was REALLY HARD at times, she often have mood swings but i understand because she works so hard. But when it comes to the husband instead of facing his own loneliness + the despair of his family he prefers staying alone because he feels more comfortable this way that's it. I say this because i know what i'm talking about i have a similar character as him and that's exactly what i tend to do when i want to avoid confrontation or bothering situations like having to help my mom at home and because i KNOW what he must be feeling i can say this is wrong and we shouldn't act this way because it hurts both our families AND ourselves. Confrontation is important because it usually always lead to COMMUNICATION. +You don't seem to realize how destructive depression is and how it can just make you lose interest in life + his kids won't just ''realize how hard he works for them'' then forgive him for being absent during their whole childhood while he was 5 minute away from them. They are already profoundly hurt by his current behaviour, so if he keeps being like this they won't make it or if they do they will resent him their whole life, and none of us wants that to happen. Also friendly reminder the husband doesn't have to take all the burden they could simply share by both working and helping at home IN TURNS, which shows once again how their financial situation isn't really the main problem but their lack of communication and his unwillingness to change.

BRUH .. she can't do anything by herself, because you never left her alone to learn and grow by herself. My parent is a narcissist like this bastard father and I had to go through therapy to get told that I basically never grew up, because my parent scheduled my whole life for me. This type of parental behavior is PERMANENTLY damaging for a child and they might physically grow up, but never mentally. I am almost 30 and I'm left with extreme mental damage, because my parent won't let me breathe and do my own thing. This is a HUGE concern.

I honestly don't understand how people are not sympathetic to women facing problems in this comment section. It tells you a lot about our patriarchy society in Asia. People are like the women is not working should be grateful while the husband is the only breadwinner, do you think handling two kids by your own with no help from someone even after you give them birth is easy? How can people underestimate and diminish the work of a homemaker that easily? If you look at their jobs economically, the wife's work is way more expensive than what the husband earns through his craftmanship.All she is simply asking for is for him to spend time with their children at least once a month, which is a very low standard to set on a father. It was his fault anyways due to his debt which got them in such situation and drew his wife in mentally to such desperate state that she had to go for fortune telling. Had he made basic efforts of what a husband and father does instead of only looking after himself and his debt, the situation would have been 10 times better. She totally doesn't deserve this at all, it was pretty much evident that she had no idea the husband would be like this before marriage and this all started occurring right from the day they got married. It's safe to say she was scammed.

She's not working and he's litteraly the only bread winner when we know how expensive life is korea. You say she's the main reason but honestly, he was doing it even when they first got married due to HIS debts. So really it was his fault to begin with, and with his constant absence it spiraled and caused her loneliness and depression, which caused her to seek out validation elsewhere which led to her getting scammed. In reality, it started with his mistake of getting scammed. I don't think she's wrong to be upset at all. At the end of the day she gave up a lot to put up with him when he was working to pay back HIS debts, and he wasn't appreciative of her taking care of the household and their children and literally living in the factory and THEN GETTING A PLACE 5 MINUTES AWAY. He didn't do his part as someone who shares a life with her either. I would've been hella mad too.
