I think the second concern is not selfish at all but compulsion. She was injured, became paralyzed for a while, has had 10 operations even her doctors have told her to find ways to relieve stress so she uses cleaning to relieve the stress. ...she needs medical help to learn better ways to cope not be dragged on national tv. Her behaviour won't really change after this show...

I actually feel every person in this episode actually all have mental illness... the first girl is slowly but surely turning into an animal hoarder nothing is more important than her babies and she needs more and more of them. The second girl clearly has OCD, two of my friends growing up and one of my moms friends had crippling OCD, she had to bath in bleach everyday to kill the germs and will clean 6-8 hours a day she moved into a smaller apartment to cut the time to 4-5 hours. (My moms friend) The last girl just makes me sad I don't think she's lazy I think she probably has depression or anxiety probably caused by the trauma of her past ... I hope they can all get help even though I don't think the real root of their problems came up.

i was so grateful for what jaehyo said at the end of the first concern referring to his responsibility as a dogowner. i personally have a huge fear of dogs but most dogowners i meet wont even hold their dogs back even tho letting them walk freely is forbidden in some areas. no one has ever carried their dog when they noticed i was afraid - instead i was told to 'take a class on how to get along w dogs' when i was literally cryung bc i was afraid. so yea, it was just rlly nice to hear someone say sth as considerate, even tho it should not be a huge thing.

I think the wife in the last concern is depressed and maybe has social anxiety , i had social anxiety and talking to people i didn't know was a big deal to me , making calls, ordering food , shopping alone , going to a new place alone ... but i didn't have anyone to help me so i had to overcome everything alone which is the only way to overcome social anxiety, her husband should stop doing so much for her or she will never change and she must want to change too but she doesn't look like she is bothered by it at all, sure is more comfortable being alone and not having to deal with the problem and recognizing it but for the happiness of her family and herself she must change

About the second concern in my opinion she needs to see a Psychiatrist, she has OCD and it's quite extreme but nobody else thought about that or mentioned it. It really makes me think mental health needs to be taken more seriously and talked more openly in Korea, and of course everywhere else. As she said she's not doing it because she likes it and she doesn't know why she's so stressed about so I think she should look for medical help. I hope people get more aware of this...

The second concern was the one with the mum and her always cleaning daughter and I actually do think she is obsessed with it. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it outside though just in her own house but she is not repeatedly washing her hands when she is outside or disinfecting things so her degree of OCD seems to be rather low compared to other cases

Am I the only one who spot the fact, for the Third concern, that every time the wife was talking she looks like she was about to cry (and tried to hide it when the camera focused on her) ? I didn't really saw anyone ask her if she had some troubles to act "so lazy". Maybe she's depressed and is part of the ones triying to hide it in order to "not bother anyone". Maybe she's doesn't talk to anyone about it by wanting to convince herself that she's fine and happy. And for the baby, I understand how important it is to take care of it in a good way, but what about "baby blues ". And if the wife do have depression, maybe she don't do it well by panicking. Like "How could I take well take care of my child when I can't even take care of me ?". Everyone, except the main woman MC, kept criticize her and didn't acknowledge her efforts. Yes, it's not good but still, she's triying. Plus, if she cooks that bad, the husband could help her. Cooking together and so spending more time together. The wife said she enjoyed drinking. People who are stressed or depressed tend to refuge them by drinking. Maybe that's her way to forget whats causing her troubles (even if she doesn't seems to really know the source). Yet, "It's her fault", "She's a bad wife because she doesn't cook well" (that's not a wife's job, but whatever…), "She's a bad mom". I'm glad this concern didn't have so many votes, but I'm still angry about the reactions towards the wife who seemed to hide something close to depression.

i feel so bad for her. she obviously has unresolved issues from her childhood. she's unsure about how to lead her life , she's indecisive because her growth process was definitely hindered by some trauma or the feeling of lacking the role of parents in her life. grandparents are lovely but they're old and lack energy to raise a child from not even the next but the next of the next generation. she is pained. definitely. she has a small voice. she is keeping a lot inside her and is truly unhappy. i understand the guy's concern too but the wife needed to be talked with love and effection for someone without knowledge of the world like her has now a baby to look after too. it's not laziness. the period being measured here is their time together as a married couple and she's been pregnant the entire time or raising a baby in whatever way she thinks she can. her not tasting the food shows she knows it will be bad but she wont know how to fix it or what to do so she just avoids that stress!

I think she should see a therapist to get her life in order, because her behavior is quite peculiar. I wonder how she feels when she has to make a big decision and no one is around. :/ I've also noticed that she is quite soft spoken which might be due to the studio set and audience and a reaction to her being on tv, but something about that makes the whole situation even stranger. The difference between American parents and Korean ones is astonishing. They're concerns are with their children as roommates, but i could see an American version of this show where the parents just kicked the kids out or they got slapped a few times for cursing or stealing blood and the KIDS sent in a concern. kind of same for Russia we have simillar show but on our show just everyone screaming and arguing and usually the problems are like someone raped someone or who's that child bc she slept with like 5 guys

I think it's not the problems themselves that are the biggest difference, it's the purpose of the shows. Idk about Dr.Phil but in the UK with Jeremy Kyle, it's set up for entertainment first. For shock factor and almost to laugh at these people's problems. With hello counselor I've never got that vibe, they laugh often, but it never feels cruel. And I think they wouldn't accept big concerns like who's child is this etc. I'd love a show like this in the UK. It's very gentle and applicable to most people's problems without being judgy or weird.

Okay I'm not even talk about the first concern. That lady is mean, and insulting towards everyone. For the second concern, I'M NOT QUALIFIED or anything, but I guess she has OCD? I hope both of them can work it out, the mother seems so nice, and I hope the daughter can see that. FOR THE THIRD CONCERN. I felt really bad for the husband, but as the episode proceeded I realized, it wasn't the husband I should've felt bad for, it was the wife, she's so lovely and charming, but she IS NOT RIGHT, SHE MIGHT HAVE DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. I know how it feels to wake up every morning, wanting to give up, because what's the point? And I'm pretty sure she feels the exact same way. The excessive sleeping, the introverted personality. And to bring her on national TV and have her made fun of WTF? Has he ever asked her how she feels? How HER day went? I'm pretty sure he loves her and is doing this for her sake, because he said he wanted her to find a dream in the future. but the fact that he was so unaware of her feelings KILLED ME INSIDE! I hope they live happily

honestly, the third concern made me want to cry cause i felt so bad for the wife... but what really pushed me over the edge was kyung, taeil, and jaehyo's reactions to that concern... they were very vocal for the other two, but right from the beginning letter of the last one they kinda shut down. taeil even seemed sad and only laughed once at a joke and not at the wife. knowing that they are all familiar with mental illness and have witnessed their own maknae have a psychotic break and had to institutionalize him... makes me think they too realized she was depressed and had anxiety.

The last woman really needs to seek help! I feel so bad for her because she is pretty, she has a pretty face. So if she took more care of herself she would be gorgeous. And if she learns how to take care of the food and the baby and help her husband more, sshe would be so amazing. She is depressed I think.

I don't really understand concerns like the leech one. I'm assuming it's the parent's home so it's up to them who lives in it. The mum could just say to her daughter 'i don't like your leeches. You can keep either get rid of them, keep them contained within your room and sucking on your own blood, or you can move out of this house'. If the daughter doesn't want to follow the house rules, she can leave. It's as simple as that. Somebody needs to put their foot down and let her know that her behaviour is not okay.

The 3rd concern really worried me, because the wife seems not just shy, but somehow apathetic and lacking life energy (her voice is simply listless). I don't know if it has something to do with the way she was raised, but I've got the feeling that it's either a depression of sorts or probably something associated with mental health (usually a person has a scenario-like concepts in their minds about how things work: doing grocery shopping or that towels thing). Probably, if it has anything to do with mental health, she should see a specialist. On the brighter side, she may make friends with other mothers in the neighbourhood and ask them for advice when it comes to house chores and child-rearing! The family itself seems very cute, so I hope they figure it out & everything will be okay. Fighting!
