If someone thinks he is advertising himself or his works, let me put a fact that many famous personalities like him never does this for free or if they get paid less than expected. Unlike them, Anu Malik is expressive and honest person. He just likes to work and stick around his work. He has true emotions for melodies and a self taught person better understands why is he picking harmonium in every answer. No doubt his songs will be remembered for good. What a brilliant composer of his style. Thankyou so much for this interview! ❤️

Love Anu Malik's passion, which is what I believe makes his music so good. Also when Anu Malik is on the music shows his comments about the performing singers are elaborate, while most other judges simply say " very good, God bless you" .

Brilliant interview of a brilliant composer. It is really sad and tragic that people remember Anu Malik for the songs he "copied / or inspired from". .. The fact is that he is the singular most consistent and diverse composer of the last 2 and half decades - which has seen so much of great music. Pop, Ghazal, Romance, Funky, Tapori.... he has a gem in every category. For every inspired song, he has a chartbuster original as well... He surely needs more recognition and credit...

The composer who ruled the 90s are Nadeem Shravan and even his first Filmfare award was because of Nadeem Shravan they composed the tune of bazigar main bazigar because of some reason Nadeem Shravan left the movie and anu malik lifted the tune and even his song kaali kaali ankhein is copied

@@fmwitharsh8472 Yes. Correct. But, I just want to correct you on the point that Nadeem Shravan didn't rule the 90's alone. You can't forget Anand Milind and Jatin Lalit? Anand Milind & Jatin Lalit were also very successful music directors of 90's. Nadeem Shravan were one of the most successful music directors of 90's, together with Anand Milind and Jatin Lalit.

Anu ji is great musician- GANDHARVA How would he see the musician like AR Rahman- who is the man of fewer words. He is knows more as a plagiarizer but his good work far outnumber them. And even the 'great ' music directors of India have lifted as many tunes. ************** Anu Malik tried too hard to be Anu Malik , I liked Irfan ji's comment in the end , accha ab kucch aur acchi acchi baaten bataiye apne videsh dauro ke baare me : ) , He ( Anu ) is trying to remain relevant in changing times and for him this show was also a platform to do high pitch selling of himself , he is not sure of the opportunities which he may or may not get in times to come , however it seems he is trying very hard.Again this shows how fragile is the success in film world , by no means he has achieved less , he has been successful and quite accomplished music composer , still he didnt let his guard down .

so true about old songs. Some times i wonder how did those musicians produce those gems and how did the those singers sing them. Really when listening those songs, one wants to fell in love and pure clean love. I have grown up by listening those songs as my father is a big fan of Rafi, that also make me listen Rafi sb, Lata ji, Kishore sab etc all of them just gifts of Allah, and then my generation singers Sonu, kumar sanu Udat sab, what else to say
