You want ramen, Angel? I got you covered, bro. This is my original recipe, based on Korea's most plentiful restaurant theme, Chi-Mehk, short for chicken & mehkju (beer). I'd be honored if you or Guga tried it. *_CHI-MEHK RAMYEON SOUP_* *INGREDIENTS* 1 12-oz. bottle beer (I use Leinenkugel's _Honeyveiss_ ) 2 cups chicken broth (I originally used bullion, that works great, too) 1 bullion cube or 1 tablespoon chicken broth base 1-2 tablespoons sambal olek, to your taste 1 bratwurst, grilled & sliced 1 carrot, sliced 2 green onions, sliced 1 packet ramen noodles 4 baby portabella mushrooms, quartered (optional) 2 eggs cracked into a bowl, yolks whole *METHOD* In a large saucepan, pour in broth and beer, add sambal olek, broth base, and bratwurst. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 7 minutes. Add carrots and boil for another 3 minutes. Add green onions, mushrooms, and noodles and boil for 1 minute. Kill the heat, add eggs, and cover for 90 seconds. Stir eggs through the soup and serve. You won't believe the layers of flavor this recipe packs. I could describe it in detail, but like I said, I'd love for you guys to try it and give your reaction.

Guga I have an idea for an experiment. I came across a video where this guy "seasons his cutting board, not the steak." What that means is he'll soak his steak in olive oil and grills it on the pan to medium rare. He then gets his cutting board and puts some butter, fresh rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper right on the cutting board. Once the steak is done he sets it to rest on top of the seasoning, right on the cutting board. The idea of this is that the steak absorbs the seasoning and spices like a sponge and tastes better than the traditional way of seasoning first. So he says. He then cuts up his steak and rubs it all over those juices in the messiest way. Prove him wrong, Guga. He probably puts milk in the bowl before his cereal.

Love both of your channels. You mention difficulty with quail eggs. You can dissolve the shell off an egg by soaking it in vinegar. It leaves the membrane intact, so you should be able to do it when the egg is raw. I used to raise quail and make and sell pickled quail eggs. They're bite size and very popular. Imagine 200 eggs, shelling them after cooking. I don't remember where I ran across the tip about soaking in vinegar, but it was a life saver. Still had to pick the membrane off, but that was much easier. Hope this helps.
