"줄광대_권원태 명인(Ropewalker_Kwon Won-tae)"
권원태 명인은 국가무형문화재 남사당놀이 이수자이자 남사당 줄꾼의 어름사니(우두머리)이다. 명인은 2006년 흥행한 이준익 감독의 영화 '왕의 남자'에서 주인공인 남사당패 광대 장생의 줄 타는 대역으로 출연하며 줄타기를 대중화시킨 장본인이자 우리나라를 대표하는 줄타기 명인이다.
Master Kwon Won-tae is an esteemed master of Namsadang Nori, a form of traditional Korean performance art recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. He serves as the Eoreumsani, the head of the Namsadang rope walkers. Master Kwon played a pivotal role in bringing rope walking into the mainstream. He captivated audiences with his stunt double performance in the tightrope walking scenes for the character Jangsaeng, a Namsadang clown, in Lee Joon-ik's acclaimed 2006 film, The King and the Clown. He is widely celebrated as a leading figure in the art of Korean rope walking.

"줄타기(Tightrope walk)"
1964년 국가무형문화재로 지정된 남사당놀이(남사당패(牌) 놀이)는 민속예능의 한가지다. 그중 네 번째 놀이인 어름은 일명 줄타기라고도 불리는데 줄광대(어름산이)가 어릿광대(매호씨)와 재담을 주고받으며 놀이가 진행된다. 둘의 대화는 만담 형식으로 이루어지며 관객들에게 재미를 선사한다. 줄판이 연행되는 자리의 특성에 따라 줄광대가 분위기를 조성하는데, 실제 줄타기의 어려움과 인생의 어려움을 대비시키기도 하고 줄 위에서 연행될 기예를 재치 있고 익살스럽게 소개하기도 한다. 이러한 줄타기의 연극적이고 음악적인 면모 덕분에 높은 예술성을 가진 종합예술로써 인정받고 있다.
Recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage since 1964, Namsadang Nori is a beloved traditional Korean folk performance. One of its notable segments, the fourth act called “Eoreum,” is popularly known as tightrope walking. During this act, the tightrope walker (Eoreumsani) exchanges playful and often humorous dialogue with a clown assistant (Maeho-ssi), much to the delight of the audience. The rope walker skillfully adapts the performance to suit the audience and the setting, sometimes humorously likening the challenges faced on the tightrope to life's trials or introducing the upcoming tightrope stunts in a witty manner. This blend of theatricality and music in tightrope walking has garnered acclaim as a highly artistic and integrated form of performance art.

〈경주 무열왕릉 Gyeongju Muyeolwangneung (Tomb of King Muyeol)〉
1963년 1월 사적으로 지정된 경주 무열왕릉은 신라 제29대 태종(太宗) 무열왕(재위 654-661, 김춘추)의 능이다. 능의 외형은 원형봉토분(圓形封土墳)으로 비교적 큰 편이다. 동쪽에 비석을 세웠던 돌거북 받침돌과 머릿돌이 남아있는데, 비석의 전면 중앙부에 ‘태종무열대왕지비(太宗武烈大王之碑)’라 새겨져 있는 것을 보고 이 무덤이 무열왕의 능임을 알게 되었다.
Declared a historic site in January 1963, Gyeongju Muyeolwangneung is the final resting place of King Muyeol, the 29th ruler of the Silla Dynasty, who reigned from 654 to 661 and was born Kim Chun-chu. The tomb is notably large, marked by a circular earthen mound. On its eastern side, remnants of a stone turtle base and a headstone, originally part of a stele, can be found. It was the engraving “Taizong Muyeol Daewang Jibi” (Monument of Great King Muyeol of Taizong) on the central front of the stele that confirmed this site as the burial place of King Muyeol.
