Spoilers I read this somewhere that Kohina dies and get's reborn and the cycle continues. Kokkuri san has to watch her die alone in every life.

Wasn't she spirited away by kokkuri-san? The gods mistakenly added her to the list of people who are goinf to die. Since she was a reincarnation of a friend kokkuri-san has in the pass and made a promise with her that they would meet again, he spirited her away to the land of the dead to protect her. The house itself where they live is a barrier. At the end of the manga, kohina learned about the truth then she was returned to the world of the living. And since she was back to being alone, she wished that kokkuri-san and the gang would come back to her and they did. That was the ending
