You can do this in Ancien. Come to this tower (southeast corner of Ancien), approach this part of the tower from due east of the icon on the map, there's a road that runs right next to the wall around the encampment. No mobs other than a will'o'wisp are around where you climb up. You will scale a steep wall and actually come up above and behind them rather than in front of them as in this video. You won't have to deal with any mobs other than these 2, although do be aware of the guy that spawns inside the tower.

@@uberrod the copper node was moved! There are a couple of paths you can follow up still in that area but still more difficult than what is presented here!

@@eltarii I was able to get the Barbuta from the Ancien site. Had to go up a little bit of a different path, pacify some people, mez another, but it was doable with minimal fuss.

Disadvantage 1: Only PvP possible after the beginner phase After endless farming and the tedious crafting of hundreds of useless items, you finally have access to higher-value items after weeks of playing. These can only be obtained in the PvP area (e.g. steel) Disadvantage 2: Only those in large (Russian) guilds can progress In the PvP area, you have to farm endlessly again. If you have painstakingly earned a bit of steel or rare plants, 6-10 Russian guild members will kill you. They are already much higher in level and can then not only take the items you have farmed, but also all your equipment. Everything is over and you have to start all over again. Disadvantage 3: At least 60 EUR are required! You can only build everything you need if you invest at least 60 EUR. The emphasis here is on "necessary". Because one plot is not nearly enough to build the large smelting furnace, the windmill and the large coal pile. Disadvantage 4: Every building looks identical If you just want to enjoy the really beautiful landscape and stay in the beginner's area, you can also build. BUT: Every building looks identical and can only vary in shape. There is only a choice between a stone house and a wooden house. So you walk through the landscape and see one house after the other and they all look very much the same. Sometimes wider, sometimes higher and that's it. Disadvantage 5: Russians threaten Europeans with nuclear bombs in the game And there is neither a block function nor are there any reactions from the software developer. Doors in the house can be opened by anyone. So the Russians can have a party or annoy you in other ways. Pax Dei lets these people get away with it and unfortunately does nothing about it. Even extreme chat messages are not penalised despite the screenshot. Russian style at Pax Dei too?

The copper ore is no longer there, and I cannot jump up the cliff. My buddy and I cleared our way to the top, and golt the plans for the helmet. This mob is not on the same respawn timer as all of the other mobs.

I tried it solo, basically got two shot by the guy wearing all T2 armor and pacified the additional mobs

I think its actually pronounced Bar-bew-ta ... the classic spelling of this helmet has an 'e' on the end and not an 'a'... theres a few videos out there with the pronunciation of it but im pretty sure you don't say it as bar-but-ta. Also, you can log out and back in to respawn everything (as long as no one else is in the area or you all log out). That way you dont need to do the jumping puzzle over and over. Just log out at the top of the jumping puzzle.

Pacify vs mesmerize are they the same?

Pacify is a sleep spell and can only work on a mob if they aren't agroed there by preventing them from being agroed too. Mesmerize is a hard CC on a mob that stuns them, it can work on agroed or unagroed mobs BUT will agro when the effect wears off and will disappear if attacked !

you can climb the rocks behind those 2 and fireball/bow them from there safely. also to reset them just log off up there and log back in a few seconds...

No, but thats also because we haven't been looking. It appears, though unconfirmed, that the mob that drops the secondary relic (Purple Ethereal Crystal) either isn't spawning or at least not near us.

So, if running away to reset it works, why wouldn't logging out do the same thing? By logging out, you are no longer there too. That way you don't have to worry about climbing the rock wall every time. Does logging out not do the same thing? By logging out you are no longer there. I would assume you need to wait like 20 seconds before logging back in so that you fully despawn.

Did you tag them with damage or anything? That is super unlucky! Either that or if there was someone at or near the POI other than your party it wont reset.

Reset the boss by running down the hill and back! As long as nobody is running the POI then itll reset and respawn!

The member you are specifically referring to has already been spoken too as generally nothing is really learned from glitching a bear either. I don't know where the animosity comes from but don't let the actions or mistakes of one individual affect the opinions of the group. My weapons skill is 37 in Maces and 18 in Shield

(how i ended up seeing this) dont stop making videos like this my man. its good for you and you are good at it. my comments more frustrated at everyone wanting to just be best in slot instead of enjoying the journey and hardships with a couple strangers just trying to make it like everyone else. i only got bored once it became about getting the best armor and doing resets or logging in and out over and over to reset stuff. the pax dei database made the game less about enjoying it and more about "beating" it. ultimately that choice is ours to make but it cant be undone. alsoooo idk if you have yet or not sorry but maybe some vids on where to meet people in game. roads for example are top tier to build next to if you are alone, due to foot traffic. also im super jealous of that magnificent beard lol. best of luck to you ingame and out.

Named Inquisitors spawn in every region, but the locations have to be sought out. You owe it to yourself to explore and discover where everything is in your region. We had a lot of trouble finding some spawns that were easier to locate in other regions, it just varies. This is an Inquest castle. It's arguably the hardest Inquisition location in the area, with tougher versions of normal mobs and many spawns. We had a hell of a time fighting them early on, but a full party with reasonably leveled combat skills and equipped with armor from a competent Armorsmith (which will be necessary to craft the Barbuta anyway) that play with a bit of situational awareness and care will have no problem clearing the castle. You don't need an army. Also: It isn't a dungeon. Dungeons are significantly nastier than this. I'd rather fight Inquisitors all day long than deal with Zebians and Corrupted.

The price seems to be fairly effective at keeping out bad players. You've gotta want what this game is promising in order to justify it. This is the only reliable period in a game's life cycle for finding good folks to play with. At launch, all the morons, idiots, jackasses, buffoons, and ne'er-do-wells will flood in and attempt to destroy the structure the actual fans of the game have established, which will also run those same people off in a month. We have to stop illiteracy in gaming, and folks need to quit buying into hype (you know, the social phenomenon designed to sway your interests artificially) and really look into these purchases. It's nobody's fault but yours if you buy things you don't like or aren't prepared for.
