[Guide] NEW Core Set and Classic Format - Getting into Hearthstone 2021

Classic Format will also have its own Ranked Ladder, like Standard and Wild. Update: The Core Set numbers are slightly changed, Basic is 52 cards and NEW is 31 cards. This is due to the Hearthstone devs creating new versions of Stonetusk Boar and Bluegill Warrior with Rush, named Emerald Skytalon and Redgill Razorjaw. For the timeline: Classic format was made available with the release of Patch 20.0 on March 25, with the expansion and rotation releasing on March 30.

I have now tried to level all charactets to 10. Paladin is 20lvl. Ive played tavern 1 brawl and 1 game of arena. But i still dont have the option to change mode to classic. I dont even have the TAB above the hero that lets u change format. Its just blank.

Did you try claiming the free Solo Adventure content here under the Wild section? us.shop.battle.net/en-us/family/hearthstone That should unlock Wild, which then should also unlock Classic as well. If that doesn't work then you'll need to go through the apprentice Ranks (40-1) which will take a while, but you'll get packs along the way.

Oh, you are right, that was added with Un'Goro. I've been playing since KFT, so I wouldn't have known any better unless I specifically searched it up :P

How to unlock classsis mode, i have all characters at lvl 10 , and 10 wins with shaman. What am i missing please help.

Try claiming some of the Wild adventures for free here: us.shop.battle.net/en-us/family/hearthstone Classic format should be unlocked the same as Wild

does anyone know how to unlock classic mode. I can only play standard. There is no tab above the hero letting me choses the different modes. plz help

You'll first need to go through the Apprentice ranks from 40-1. Once you graduate you'll be able to select a free deck, and Wild and Classic mode will be available. You'll also be getting free packs along the way to help you with your collection.

9:40 Core Set has been revealed as of a few hours ago Expansion date is very likely to be March 23 That is when everything will change

Can we disenchant all the core set cards before they give them again for free ??

Your Classic copy is permanent, while the Core Set version is temporary and may only last 1 year when next year's Core Set comes around. If you disenchant your Classic copy, you will lose access to those cards for use in Wild and Classic format if they are not in the Core Set.
