Carnival is Anguilla's biggest holiday!
Spanning two weeks and held at the end of July / beginning of August, Carnival is widely known and celebrated throughout the island, even more than Christmas. While the words "Anguilla Carnival" (also called Anguilla Summer Festival) stir vivid images of sailboat races and sequined costumes and street parades for Anguillians, many travelers to Anguilla don't know all of the "ins and outs" of Carnival.

I never knew Anguilla had a carnival, let alone one that attracts so many people. Thanks ladies for the video. We're heading to T&C on our next Caribbean vacation, but Anguilla is definately on the radar in a year or so.

Don't forget Landsome Bowl and the crowning of the Calypso Monarch... I still remember my 1st time seeing the competition... Great Times!!!

The biggest day of Carnival, August Monday is always the first Monday in August and all of the big events follow from there 🤗🤗 Would be such fun for your wedding guests!
