You can earn the new currencies from Star Vessels. Currently the main way of earning Star vessels is from completing 3* or higher adventures or doing the Monthly Challenges.

They need to remove the upgradable from the hero tab when u have enough wild frags to upgrade, makes it way more confusing to know when u have enough normal shards of that hero to upgrade them. Ex: i have 50 wild frags so every champ is orange so i have to go 1 by 1 nd check which ones are blue shards and which ones only have enough because of wild)

Getting 6* is probably going to be a myth until there's a consistent and reliable way to get them because platinum star vessel is not enough, you need to get diamond star vessel to actually getting nova crystals and even then it's RNG depended (1/11 chance to get)

Hopefully next update gives more ways to get these new currencies. Done with all the quests and rewards and I only got 1 nova crystal from a guaranteed quest. Feelsbad

Thanks for doing this video! tidies up a bunch of explanations I've seen around the place. With how skill trees have worked in video games for years, I'm surprised how many people have needed the progression along upgrade paths explained.

Thanks for this breakup down on the new currencies since even the website that showed didn't go a good job explaining. Anyway, I hope that in the future, there will be an easier way to get the gemstones, star crystals, and nova shards since after you complete all of the new quests, you'll still be short to not complete every constallion for all champions, even though maxing that out (right now) is a blessing in disguise for anyone. Plus, with the star crystals and nova shards region lock with no wild option like shards, there's no way to convert excess of one region for another through a shop or something. It does become a bit grindy and slow once a game introduces too many currencies for upgrades that you need 2 or more different currencies for something new if you go the F2P route, and coming from someone who has 20ish stars on champions before the update last week, I think watching someone else play the game might be easier for me to handle due to the grind that resource hunting is becoming for Runeterra these days. (Knowing that monthly adventures will introduce some of them next month, I'll have to wait and see what the reward list is for monthly adventures in June. I don't know yet if its rewards are good for the gemstones, nova shards, and star crystals, but unless it pays a decent amount each month considering how hard it is to complete it, I can't tell if it will ease the grind of the resources since after completing all quests, you won't have an easy way to get them for awhile.)

The wallet on the champ roster only shows currencies you have at least 1 of The champion details/constellation wallet shows all of the currencies used on that constellation (including the 0 count ones)

it is quite annoying that that the bonus xp nodes r harder to get since by the time u get them u probably would not benefit that much

It's pretty much a very endgame feature that rewards you for having too much stardust, because there're 3 constellations every month with the possibility of new champ joining PoC just like viego, grinding them to level 30 is really exhausting work so gemstones here were just a bonus if you already completed a constellation

Grinding levels aren't really exhausting if you've got at least 3 stars and the xp bonus relics to spend.

Fyi for greater cosmic blessings the current 3.5 weekly is a very easy chalenge and gets u to 25 vl on champs

I'm honestly surprised the game thought that was worth 3.5 stars. I've been using it to grind spirit forges for a few epic slots. Just playing Aatrox with a couple of stalkers blades was basically enough to win the entire run.

trecherous terrain is worse than hold them off. Asol summons champion, TT procs, then it's removed when round starts.Hold them off keeps them frostbitten.

Havent gotten any of the new currencies yet so this update has been a huge disappointment so far. Riot just showing themselves to be very greedy once again and introducing this many currency to prolong progression is just in bad taste.
