You are by far my favourite gymnastics montage maker! I adore the fact that you always include girls from lesser known gymnastic countries. It's normally all russians, american, romanians and the chinese in montages. Particularly love seeing the Brit girls included, even the lesser known ones like Marissa King. Thanks for that!

Nice to see Dudnik's triple featured - 21 years later and I dont think it's been bettered. Is the Produnova on beam actually an E now? Surely its more difficult than the tucked Grigoras which is an F.

@MrEddiem84 I used the Amanar as an example. Of course, the Produnova is the most difficult vault and it deserves to be at a 7.1. Who is the other person to attempt a Produnova? I wish someone would compete it today, just to spice up the vault finals.

The Ma is such a cool dismount! would love to see someone do it today. And are you kidding with those full twisting beam mounts? what a risky way to start a routine!

@julianamliu No, because the way vault works is that each vault is given a numerical value as opposed to being assigned a letter. So an Amanar, currently one of the most difficult vaults being competed, is not a G but a 6.5. While a Yurchenko layout, one of the simpler vaults, is not a B but a 4.4.

She only performed it tucked, but the code of points calls the straight version the Garrison, I don't know why.

The triple twisting Yurchenko? In 2008, when the Hong Un Jong submitted it to the FIG for consideration, the FIG gave it a provisional value of 7.2 so at the time 0.7 more than the Amanar and 0.1 more than the Produnova. Now, I don't know what the FIG would give it since no one has tried to submit again. It could 7.2 again or really anything, if the FIG would want to encourage more difficulty (like with the Produnova) or discourage a potentially dangerous skill (like with the one-armed Geinger)

I believe in 2008 when Hong Un Jong submitted it, it was given a provisional value of 7.2; so the FIG believes it is worth more than a Produnova... Of course she didn't perform the vault in Beijing so it wasn't put into the Code.

Yeah that was the only one I could think of since the start of the code... I remember reading somewhere about a variation on a reverse hecht/tkatchev performed by rebecca tunney or imogen cairns or something that got an F rating... Some moves should have been F or G rated but couldn't due to silly reasons in the code though, namely the Seitz (and in my opinion the Komova should be F).

When will they include "Super G" or H moves? Tatiana Groshkova did a double full in, double pike out at a competition, but it wasn't Worlds or Olympics, so she wasn't credited.

Daiane Dos Santos is such a powerful tumbler but she still pikes a little too much in her hips for what's supposed to be a straight or layed out arabian, in my opinion anyway. Great, great gymnast though.

That is true in the newest code of points, but not true about the previous code of points. For example the 3.5 twist and the double front pike were the same value in both the men's and women's code of points
