I absolutely agree with you! I actually begun with Tempt me at Twilight and I fell in love with the book, so I decided to read the others. But if I had to choose, my favorite would be Love in the Afternoon 💞

I like how compared to other historical romance stories the hathaways spend a lot of time on the background characters. And I know that a lot of people don't enjoy that aspect of the series, but when you read all of the books in order it does make it a lot more enjoyable

I am huge fan of Lisa, specially her historical novels (I dont really enjoyed the contemporary books). I LOVE both Wallflowers and Ravenels, bur my most favorite series is Hathaway (though my most favorit book from Lisa is from Wallflower - Devil in winter, who couls not fall in love with Sebastian and Evie!?). I totally agree with you about those first books, I was super excited that Cam will have his own book but I was not really satisfied with the final product. Regarding Win and Kev, Kev was driving me crazy and I also did not get the plotline with Win's doctor, who suddenly turns out to be a possible killer. But I have to say that Leo was (together with Beatrix) my favorite character. I know he was not easygoing, and he did a lot a of nasty stuff, and was jerk... but I just love his sarcasm and dark sense of humor and I absolutely enjoyed how he loved/hated Kat. Their story was the most beautiful for me, specially bcs it went through three books, so we could see how they are changing their attitudes towards each other. And Beatrix story...cherry on top. As an animal lover and bookworm (and great weirdo), I could relate to Beatrix character so much! Her story was very sweet, just as she is and I very enjoyed it. In general, I love the atmosphere of this family, is healing for me. Everytime i feel depressed, lonely, sad, whatever, I read these books. Its like going home. Simply, I adore them and I have read all the books I have no idea how many times :) ♡ Regards from Slovakia!

I definitely love the Hathaways, but the Wallflowers will always hold a special place in my heart. One of these days I want to rate all of the Wallflowers, Hathaways and Ravenels because they’re all so inter connected.

I used to own many Lisa kleypas that I do not have space but I keep the most I like. Seduce me at sunrise 🌅.Dreaming of you, the male character favorite Drake born in a brothel and raise in the slums I love that character and please read that book, you will not regret.

I started reading Hathaway series from the tempt me at twilight due to reviews from goodreads on chasing cassandra saying the hero is the same as harry from the hathaways, i happy i did because i loved the three books, if i started from the first book, or the second maybe I won't continue. i realize that hathaways are written after wallflower series but harry's been mentioned there and I was so intrigued.. like it was mentioned in the the second book of the series.

Have been off about the hathaways series ever since mine till midnight was a letdown for me. But seeing the 3rd and 4th book for really cheap prices online I’m planning to go back to this series, haha! Maybe for the last 3 books in it at least :)
