having used txi's for years and years. 99% of my runs have been so obvious none of the additional sensitivity or response settings mattered at all. If it was set in the middle of all the dials thats all i would ever need or use. The value is in the receiver, the anti theft and it uses vibration. Like everything in carp fishing its all to catch the angler and to look like you got all the gear and no idea. I dont think i have ever asked or seen an angler adjust his settings on the bank after he's used them a few times!

Then you better should ask others if you self don't switch around with the settings. Have you ever fished in really heavy rain, in a hailstorm, on a flooded river or when lots of small fish or crab play around at the bait? Cause then you definitely need the sensitivity settings. If you always go fishing on a lake, when it is perfect sunny weather, then you maybe don't need all those settings. I'm really happy with my txi+ system, I wouldn't want to miss it and all the settings and features are there for me when I need them. Before them I had a pretty cheap set of alarms from Prologic, I catched a lot of carp with them for a few years but the main problem was that they used only those small type of camera batteries, that you can't buy everywhere, they got empty all the time and it was a pain in the ass. Then I bought the txi+ system to have something solid for years to come, the 9V block Battery holds for up to several years and the alarms work much more reliable. I don't regret the purchase.

Always had delkims, even the original conversions... I like tone difference control. No mention of this , are they a fixed tone. ? Thanks.

The are 64 digital tone set with the push button.
