Amateur 16mm colour film from 1948 presented as a guide to New Orleans. This covers the Huey Long Bridge, the Algiers Ferry, Canal Street before Mardi Gras, and many sights from the French Quarter.
This was filmed by Louis Epstein, and I believe Unifilms (of South Africa) may have been involved in the processing of the full reel (this is edited down from about 25mins).
The original footage was frame by frame digitised at 2048X1152 resolution, I have compressed this edited version a bit for convenience.
