Really good points in this video - I totally agree with your points on sea legs - I've had MUCH worse in the Bay of Biscay than what I had last year on my 2 Translatlantic trips. Also, my TA's were among my cheapest cruises last year - I'd love to do more, but the schedules VERY rarely fit with my work plans... Random one - what was the port with the lightning storm at 01:26 in your video? It looks stunning, especially in that weather!

Cheers Fraser. We’d love to do more TA’s too. Especially that Virgin one you did. The port was Nassau. About 1 1/2hrs before we left a storm arrived and just kept getting worse and the lightning was spectacular as we sailed out past the lighthouse. We’ve sailed out of Nassau a lot and it was by far the most memorable and was the last night of the TA on Apex.

We tried our first TA last year (Arvia from Barbados), our smoothest sailing ever, even the captain remarked that in 20 years at sea he'd never had such a smooth sailing. We enjoyed it so much we're pushing our luck and doing another next month on Sky Princess, 6 sea days, bliss.

Important to note that Cunard are ocean liners not really cruise ship. Cunard are specifically designed and engineered for transatlantic voyages. Ocean liners tend to be more stable in rough seas. But mother nature dictates no matter what ship you choose.

QM2 is indeed an Ocean Liner Darren although the on-going Cunard debate as to whether a liner is a ship goes on 😂 listening to the designer of QM2 recently he clarified it the best we’ve heard so far “A liner can be a ship” but a ship is not a Liner 😀 of course QE,QV and the upcoming QA aren’t liners so QM2 remains the worlds only and last operating Liner. We love her and it would be great to see more of them. But as you said no matter the design if it’s rough you are going to notice. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. Have a lovely day. The value for money on repositioning cruises is amazing - if we enjoy our Virgin experience in April it will be a regular for us in think.

You really need to do something about your sound. Lynsey is clear enough but Mike is barely audible- or if you turn it up loud enough to hear Mike clearly when Lynsey speaks I worry the ceiling is going to come down.

Really sorry the sound hasn't been great for you on this video Graham. We run these over really good quality mics and through a amp to give the best quality (we changed to this a few videos ago) and checking all the monitoring stuff it is showing as balanced correctly for us both and testing on various devices works as we'd expect it. Can we ask what are you watching our content on and is it in stereo or mono? We will see if there is something that is device specific we can review. Linzi and Mark

Thanks for responding. I’ve been watching on my Sony TV and I’ve not noticed an issue on other videos. However it is something to do with the tv because I’ve just played the video on my iPad and you both come through clearly on different channels. Audio settings on TV and in KZbin app seem ok so unless other people complain don’t worry about it.
