Guide Training Trip - Ep.29 - Llama Life (Part 1 of 2)

The guide training continues this week with a backcountry adventure! Beau and other experienced guides take a whole herd of llamas and the guides-in-training on a multi-day trip in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The trip begins in a bit of a hurry as mechanical problems have delayed the start. Once on the trail, constant rain becomes the theme. Everyone (including the llamas) tries to stay dry as the weather doesn't give them much of a break.

My llamas spit at each other if I try to give one of them a treat while the others are there also wanting treats. I noticed yours patiently wait for theirs. When I lead them in a string, they don't aways stay behind each other. on will come up beside the one in front of him. I have all males. I'm still working on which will be first. I think I've figured that out. Jim
