does this work against fodoquia and other triple feathershield formations? i notice the only reason why it worked against no.9 was because the enemy team used shining light instead of reflect but i've noticed that many of the triple feathershield formations don't even have a featherbow so they will definitely still use reflect even if you waste one as per your strat

Thanks! Hm that depends on what you have. I like having cavs team as my main kill team because of the mobility. There are a lot of different types of setups you can do.

If you are stuck, try Eltolinde + Alear + Melisandre + Rosaline/any magic dps or shaman. A level 25+ Eltolinde give your line debuff immunity at the start of the fight. Give Alear the persuit bracelet and persuit feather. Every time Melisandre or Eltolinde attacks, he also attacks. This setup completely destroyed Alcina and her minions since she cannot debuff your physical dps.

Yeah haha, part of me wishes there were more amber lens and cat hoods, but another part likes how the limited quantities force me to build different (and sometimes weird) teams to fill out the remaining team slots.

@@silic1 yea i agree with the limit to those items too but having the dragoon dive nuke team and the yunify nuke team i cant realy take the cat ears from them. i was thinking of doing something esle with the trinity rain and just to protect the mage who casts it with tanks and wgive the mage the magisoul item that lets him recast the last spell he did so it should do two trinity rains in a row when it gets off

@@nicokeith On my main save, I have the cat hoods on yunifi team and elemental roar team so like you, I've also been trying to get trinity rain to work with either recast or celestial talisman. It's as you say, with recast you have to protect the mage till he gets the cast off. For story you could try things like freeze teams, maybe throw in sandstorm on top of that lol. I uploaded a celestial talisman version recently. I thought it would be interesting to try get celestial talisman to work. For items, the required are millenium scepter and celestial talisman plus sniper's lens for the 100% hit. Celestial talisman has -1ap so you're left with 1ap and 2pp. The caster needs 3ap for trinity rain and 4pp for hastened charge + 1pp for snipers lens. So now there is 1 item slot remaining and I need 2ap and 2pp (technically 3 pp but you can get 1 from owl). That's where onyx pendant (+2ap, +2pp, all stats -15) comes in. I've wanted to make a team with onyx pendant but couldn't find a right place for it lol so this was a chance to use both celestial talisman and onyx pendant and get a non-cat-ear trinity rain build going as well. Three birds with 1 stone lol. The way it works is I double initiative buff the caster with owl heal + angel plume (tailwind) to make up for the -15 initiative from onyx pendant and I have eltolinde elemental roar with stun conferral as a blanket aoe stun plus it helps with some damage because trinity rain damage is decreased due to onyx pendant, then I have another caster with ice coffin either hit the front or back row depending on enemy composition and finally I have druid either defensive curse or sandstorm based on the enemy composition. So 2 crowd controls, stun conferred roar and ice coffin plus a potential blanket blind from sandstorm as third crowd control if necessary. These 3 go off before my caster does his trinity rain as they're meant to protect the caster from interrupts. Owls will dispel celestial talisman immediately, but with the cc sequence, I have enough time to get the cast off anyway which means I could probably adjust it to work with recast lol. A level 45 quest will be available after you defeat the game ( located in the upper part of cornia). Alcina and other non playable characters on normal playthrough will be added to your team after the quest is defeated.

@@silic1 The characters do they need to have their stats respected? Eg. Yana has offensive/offensive by default. Another example is I respected my Alain to Offensive/Defensive.

@@midgard2024 it's not that important depending on which part of the game you're at, just make sure the turn order is correct, and adjust the stats as necessary. i'll list mine as below, but keep in mind it might not be the "best". When i test builds i transfer units around and if they don't require adjusting, often I don't do it, so they might have stats that's actually set for a different team. Also yours might be different based on your levels and such so adjust as necessary. alcina: offensive/offensive wereowl: go-getter/go-getter auch: go-getter/go-getter aramis: offensive/offensive legionaire: go-getter/go-getter
