We are seeing a lot of redevelopment in all US major and even some minor Us airports. DFW, Portland, Pittsburgh, Kansas, Tampa, Orlando, Denver, Chicago O hare have just finished or are already starting construction on renovations and expansions. We haven’t seen anything like this before. It’s crazy and admirable at the same time.

Denver should take a good, hard look at the way the TSA checkpoints operate at LGA. It's INCREDIBLY efficient and easy to navigate. I flew into and out of here back in March of this year (2024) and was amazed at the dramatic improvement. My family and I agree that this terminal is more like a shopping mall that happens to be an airport. We can't say enough good things about this airport. I definitely want to return here and spend more time at the shops. I never thought I would say this but LGA is one of these airports that should serve as a model for other airports to improve their terminals.

I love Sky Harbor's Terminal 4, with its landside indoor shopping mall, and Pittsburgh with its airside mall. but this terminal is awesome and is so much better than the dreary terminal I arrived in way back in '99.

That's because it was empty and not yet opened. Just went thru there two weeks ago and it was full and great.
