Well done. I remember this theme music from when I was in high school. And believe it or not this theme is why I became a GL fan in the first place. So sad they don't use it anymore. They should maybe use all the themes from the past this year to help celebrate the 70 years since the current one of "the poem" is such a flop! But, i know that a new theme is coming up in the next few days, so we will see. Great job on this intro!!!

I agree, they should have kept this theme. I've never been a fan of the show, but as I also used to always stay tuned after "As The World Turns" just to hear the GL intro. The old string theme from the early 80s was also great!!!!

when i was younger i would sit still long enough to hear the theme song that's how catchy this tune was and I was 8, not too many kid hung around for moms soaps

@RubicsCubeProduction GL was the only soap that remained around GOD & the suffering & pain of life in general! But Praise the LORD that this was the one & only soap opera that focused on GOD,& FAITH! HALLELUJAH! JESUS WASHES US WHITE AS SNOW! THANK YOU JESUS THAT I AM A SINNER SAVED BY GOD'S LOVE MERCY & GRACE,YOU GET ALL THE GLORY HONOUR & PRAISE! ilililhy1 that is corrected that’s where the theme came from.Irma Phillip’s stayed that the theme came from a radio show she listened to of the same where the pastor talked about God’s Guiding Light leading lost souls home.

I was a big fan of Guiding Light and I wish that they would have kept the opening from 1993 hold on to love the best opening that Guiding Light ever had I don't know why they changed it in 2002 where they showed there faces going around the Lighthouse and the name being in little letters like this Guiding Light I didn't like that opening or any of the other openings that Guiding Light had

Me. Too I also loved Mallet and Harley together and I hate the writes putting her have babies with Rick and Phillip I nstead her having a child with Mallet .. I hate that Mallet was there father not been able to be father because of the accident and no he would had made a better father then Phillip anyday
