I loved Ben and Eve! What a couple and wished they had stayed longer. Always hoped Rita would return. The show was wrecked when the Texas team took over and ruined it.

great new clip! excellent ! i see that ben has tamed his hairstyle down somewhat lol. is this one of the last episodes he (actor stephen yates) was in? how about amanda/kathleen cullen? was she still in the show at this point?

Ben would leave Springfield shortly after this episode, but would return during the fall of 1982, and he and Evie would remarry in a quiet ceremony somewhere around November of '82, after which he stopped appearing. Janet Grey would remain as Eve for a few more months, into the spring of 1983, where she helped Justin take care of his infant daughter, afterJackie's untimely death, during which she frequently referred to her (now off-camera) husband Ben, before she announced that she and Ben were leaving Springfield together to start a new life together. I believe that she and Ben moved to Paris, so that Ben could paint. Kathleen Cullen would remain on the how through mid-1983, where her storyline focused mostly on her work at Spaulding Enterprises, before she departed Springfield, though she would return a few years later.
