Cynthia Watros's Annie is for me the BEST character and performer ever in Guiding Light history. She was PHENOMENAL as Annie! The cast in 1996 had 33 Emmy nominees (including 10 winners for GL and one who won for AMC) and 10 others who really deserved nominations. Just an incredible cast!

it's definitely understandable that shayne would be terrified of his mother. those two never had it easy, starting with shayne being a victim of neglect due to reva's postpartum psychosis and then being motherless for the next 5 years.

I thought the writers sucked from 96-2001, with the exception of a few storylines. The re-entry of Reva was a disaster. It could've been written so much better.
