Nancy St. Alban joins the cast as Michelle Bauer. Danny receives divorce papers on the same day that Michelle returns to Springfield, fearful that she's miscarrying.

Bethany quit and they had to find a new Michelle. This one was good for me too. A more mature Michelle. I think they were great togeher even though they were not PAS and BEthany.

@7272kiki I am also glad that Joy risks leaving the project to meet OTH, siceramente Michelle was a great character but Haley is magnificent, neither wanted to OTH'd just because I wanted more babies Naley, but I read a couple of fics that say Hales was pregnant in the final scene, cute would a 10th season with another baby Naley, sorry for taking this space to talk about OTH

No offense to anyone, but in my personal opinion, Nancy was my favorite Michelle. I've seen all the previous videos with BJG and it just seemed a lot like a high school romance with her. That was ok when they first started out and were young, but as the years went on Michelle needed to mature and I don't know if BJG could have pulled it off. The fact that Nancy and Paul are the same age in real life probably helped a lot. And I liked that Nancy had better chemistry with the other cast members. With the exception of the Tony recast, (which was a terrible idea) she seemed to work well with anyone she was in a scene with. While BJG was good with PAS, she never seemed to have much chemistry with anyone else (especially Rick and Meta), and that was pretty off-putting for me. Personally, I think they struck gold with Nancy St. Alban, and I'm glad she stuck with it til the end.

I agree I like BJL as Michelle but Nancy she had the emotion and the maturity and great chemistry with PAS not that BJL didn't have that with PAS i just think Nancy did an awesome job as Michelle

I prefer Nancy St. Alban in the role. I think Nancy did a phenomenal job as Michelle. I loved her version with Danny a lot more, best chemistry.

i like both michelle bethany and nancy bring different sides to michelle both had amazing chemetry with PAS at first i would not watch the one with nancy bethany was the reason i started watching michelle and danny but i wanted to see how there story ending so i force myself at first to watch it then i really started see how amazing nancy was as michelle my fear was she was not gonna have alot of chemetry with paul but they had alot of chemetry but im happy i took a chance and watch it becuz it make me loved michelle and danny more and you can tell there love only grow stronger as the years go buy i think i loved them more later year becuz you can see how deep there love is and it doesnt get any stronger then that there love is deep and so strong and you look up to couple that have there kind of love i seen alot of couple no one campare to this couple there awesome couple and no one can outbeat them ever

Also, I think it's annoying when certain people watch clips WITH Nancy in the role and diss on her. If you don't like her, don't watch the clips! I'm LOVING Nancy in the role as Michelle. I think she gave Michelle more maturity. And PAS LOVED working with Nancy even more, they become a lot closer friends than he was with Bethany.

I'm glad Bethany decided to leave the GL to OTH to try something different. I loved her as Michelle. PAS and her had great on screen chemistry. They bought out the best in each other. I was bummed when she left and they replaced her with Nancy but Nancy fits this storyline better. The chemistry isn't there between PAS and Nancy.

It wasn’t weird at all. Considering HE chose Nancy. He said it himself. It was right away, he liked her and wanted her to be Michelle! She was his first and only choice.

I didn't really like Nancy St. Alban as Michelle Bauer. I would have rather Tamara Braun or Natalia Livingston in such a pivotal role on "Guiding Light." However, I did like Joy Lenz in the role. I may have to watch more clips of Nancy St. Alban in the role at a mature age now. I was in high school when she first aired in the role of Michelle.
