The birth scenes are what really cemented Nancy as Michelle for me and her dynamic chemistry with PAS. They really seem like a real couple going through labor. I could never picture Joy in this scene because of her age. She would have come off as a teen mom and that wasn't who Michelle was. I'm glad they found Nancy, I think she brought a lot to the role that people don't give her enough credit for. By the time the show ended, she was the ONLY Michelle I could (or wanted) to remember. Joy who?
