Guiding Light: Reva's Return Part 23 - Fighting Over Bigamy - January 10th & 11th, 1996

At the courthouse, Reva wants to charge Josh with bigamy. He tries to reason with her and when she doesn't back down, she finds out that she will instead be arrested for bigamy accessory to fraud because she didn't announce she was alive before Josh married Annie.
Reva & Josh calm down and drop the charges against each other. While Reva is elsewhere working through the details, Alan delights in telling Josh that he and Reva are now involved which angers Josh and when he's cold again to Reva, she tells him that she'll give him a divorce when she gets full custody of her children.

Ugh I hate seeing Joshua be so mean to Reva. Later he would admit that he wanted her back the moment he saw her so all of this was just him not being able to handle that she still owned his heart.

Agree - I have a hard time watching them argue & hurt each other - especially when if they'd just slow down and talk, they'd realize they really want the same thing. They BOTH jump to the worst conclusions. I have to remind myself sometimes this is the artifice of soap opera storytelling :) And as much I don't like to watch them fight, I'd rather watch that any day over them each trying to make it work with someone else (Alan/Annie etc).

Oh I always felt she was a better match for Kyle Sampson even with his controlling mother Sally. Then I also thought she would make a great wife for Alan Spaulding. They were like the super couple of Springfield .. but it didn't pan out somehow the writers put her with Buzz cooper . I had stop watching for a tad bit and came back to that mess knowing Riva wanted josh...

@@darnellanders8768 Reva and Buzz were probably the worst couple ever on GL zero chemistry. Lucy and Alan Michael were probably the second worst. Alan and Beth always seemed a little creepy too Alan knew her from a teenager and she was the mother of his grandchildren 🤮

I don't have those scenes or when they first arrive at CC (wish I did)! I think he takes her there in mid-late February 1996 because Marah goes missing after that and finally reveals herself at Reva's the 1st week of March.
