I'm convinced that NPH has a magical aura around him that causes people to break out into song and dance at his slightest whim, all starting with a pizzicato violin. This wasn't rehearsed, it just happened and they caught it on film by coincidence. Then again I have never met the man but I believe it to be true.

This is just perfect. I really like the idea that life could be just like theater. Neil is great. No matter if there is a mistake or not. Even in theater mistakes happen and the most important thing is to go on. I entirely enjoyed his performance and would be happy to have him hosting the next Tonys again.

2013 was the last time he hosted the Tony, so I'm guessing that "Bigger" is his conclusion to all the Tony Award host gig that he did. All of his host effort led up to one big performance in 2013. He knew that after that, there's nothing that he could top
