I stopped Patreon Giveaways 3 years ago, in 2021. I understand any critics about it, it is my biggest mistake and if I could come back and cancel this, I would. I deeply regret it. Despite the fact that ArenaNet tolerated it (they told me they did not considered it as RMT), it was definitely in a grey area, and ethically wrong. This system made some people happy but many, many other frustrated. Some people supported me for my content, some other for giveaways, some other for both, but overall it was a terrible system ; and today I am ashamed about it. I stopped this in 2021 because I was starting to feel extremely bad about it, and it was heavily impacting my mood and my mental health. I have been hesitant for years to make some public apology on my channel about this. I think it’s the first time I speak about this « in public ». So yeah, I understand any critics. The only thing I disagree is the « tax evasion » supposition. I have my society as a « content creator » and I aways declared everything, and I still do. I don’t know where this supposition comes from. But overall, again, I am deeply sorry about the Patreon Giveaways. I am more mature now, but I still, today, feel very bad and sorry about it.

I am not super engaged in the Guild Wars 2 streamer scene, but I know Nike well enough to know he's definitely not in washed, but has always been in the actual trash category IF we are to base it off of his own tier list. You never peaked. The only claim to fame you had was being a good warrior player, but none ever watched you for YOU. This shouldn't come as a shocker considering the low view count and the fact that a majority of your videos are just POV highlights with music over them, with zero commentary, again just furthering the above point. Not BAD content though for those who care, but definitely nothing special.

@NikeonaBike It wasn't meant to be an insult, I have no qualms with you, I just thought as long as we're being frank.. I haven't played in nearly a decade, so wouldn't really call myself a fan, though that's kind of a double edged sword since it means I have less of a say when it comes to the community, henceforth why my first sentence mentions how I am not engaged in the scene.

The Cellofrag thing is even worse than this. He had a tiered patreon with different categories for monthly lotteries, and he would promote those with a probability of winning a precursor, a legendary or an infusion for the higher tiers. (10%-20% for the highest rewards in highest tiers). Except he would make those numbers up, because players had no way to know how many patreons he had in each category I think, or rather they just didn't add up with the amount of people you could see in each category on discord (and some people were obviously just on patreon and not on discord). I don't know if that's still a thing but hopefully not. I'll have you know the patreon subscriptions were like up to something like 250 bucks lmao

How WvW won't be dead? Sacrx got rank 10k in the first year of the game and since the only additions were a mount and a new map too large for its own good. What its amazing is that some hardcore WvW players still doesn't have the title...

Personal feelings aside, Vallun deserves to be in the entertaining tier, more so than a lot of the creators you placed in that tier. He has been consistently putting out content for years-- even when most PvP focused creators got bored of the game and left. Vallun stuck with the game and continued to get better, and for that he has my respect. To this day he is one of, if not the only, creator making good quality build videos for competitive modes. Novahh should also be there. He is a WvW streamer, one of the last good pugmanders to play the game and is fun to watch. Shorts is a top pvper and arguably the pvp mesmer goat. He makes excellent pvp analysis/commentary content especially if you're interested in learning how mesmer plays at the very highest level. I do recommend checking him out as well, although to be fair he has not posted in ~3 months as I believe he is currently bored of the game.
