"Damage is not important while farming in the open world" is possible some of the worst advice you could've given. More people upscale champion and stronger mobs and without sufficient damage they take forever to die, which overall leads to less efficiency of the farmtrain. Encouraging people to do more damage and use builds (and stat combos) which have simple rotations and decent tagging potential tends to carry for most people. Some farms you can obviously use full tagging builds where the farmtrain consists of a bunch of downscaled mobs. You also don't need soldier gear if you are engaging mobs with a full squad - you will never reach a point where you full die while in a group, so you can just use full power or condi stat combos.

The only place where I would consider go with offensive stats on open world is Chak Gerent, everything else die way too quickly. The best example are cache bosses in Drizzlewood, where you barely have time to get there with griffon from airdrop how fast they die.

And why exactly do you think they die so fast? That's right, because of all the people NOT wearing soldier gear. Your advice is only somewhat true for trash mobs, but not upscaled enemies and most event bosses. Meta events are already slow and painful enough because of all the people who don't understand builds at all, please don't give them bad advice that will make it even worse.

@@TekkitsWorkshop Well you have all of the champion mobs in the dragonfall keyfarm, on top of the meta split bosses and then for the sui you have the entire champtrain, all of which can take minutes worth of differences if damage is insufficient. A lot of metas still want you to do damage to boost the efficiency - could be the difference between failing tarir, could take a lot longer for Elon dopple and you might miss the next meta. General LWS metas are much more fun and efficient if you can clear them faster such as shatterer, drakkar, oil slug. If you have sufficient damage you have a higher chance of just getting to the next meta and good speed and not missing it. Also in all of the drizzle runs i've seen most if not all of the people actively participating manage to make it to cache keepers with griffon. I respect that it may take a few extra seconds to find the champ if your commander doesn't call it out but if your commander doesn't call it out then its likely that the squad isn't as efficient in general. Unless you make some tea between every cache keeper it maybe takes 1-2 tries to learn the spawns and then you should have it everytime.

I obviously could not tell exactly what gear they had unless I saw some direct hits, but the wast majority did not use any rotation, it's all semi-afk auto-attack spam. The gear is never the reason for slow metas

One spirit shards it's a least 50 silvers up to 1g depends what you do it with them. All these years and never ever buy fireworks to boost exp and mf until now... Thanks as always great content

Tekkit, I was wondering... is it better to sell all mats you get and just buy what you need when you have to craft things, or should I hoard something?

Craft the mats to its crafting component. For example elder wood to elder wood planks. Then sell it. I'd recommend keeping about 100 of each material so you can craft ascended mats like deldrimore steel and that stuff then sell it. If you know you'll need it in the future then save it. It's upp to the situation you are in.

Magic find don't give you more stuff, just the chance for higher rarity:-) If you can boost MF, do so but not instead of xp:-)

The key is having reserve no matter what:-) First I always had to have at least 1k gold all the time, later 10k, 20k and now 30k:-)

I suggest more to play thief, you can tag very easily with shortbow with the basic attack, Aoe with 4 and teleport several times with 5.

While i agree on basically everything you said, how is it that often times on Istan (like Palawadan) I hit champions for lots of dmg (full bers DH) and yet i don't get loot? I'm quite sure it's not damage dependant, more like a bug i guess? Also i do lots of WvW, and sometimes if i am on a support class i don't manage to get the champion bag from Tower lords because i don't do enough damage (apparently) , which never happens to me when i am on necro or any other dps class

Sorry i have one important question. Im playing since few months and im literally full of money , so i decided even to buy my legendaries weapons. Now i have full ascended gear and legendary weapons. Now my queation is: at this point what to do with gold? The only meaning to make money is to waste them in aesthethic infusion, or am i wrong?

You could say the same about legendary weapons:-) You have full legendary gear ahead, QoL items like permanent bank and overall various unlocks worth of roughly half a million gold:-)
