2 years later lol, but i think Jormag was a female dragon, or perhaps a genderless one since the voice is neutral-ish. Primordus was a him.

@@freakytiki191 Actually, I believe the devs say that Jormag is Genderfluid. As in, their Gender is whatever will make you more willing to do its bidding. They let YOU choose how to perceive them to better manipulate you.

I love how they humanize dragons, its turns out they are not just a mindless machine, which want only kill and destroy, they are smart and manipulative, they turn tyrians in their side, they know a weak sides of anyone, bangar was lmperialist, jormag used it for his purposes. Ryland always feels his inferiority and Jormag used it, and got a powerfull leader of his army

With the text only, it was difficult to grasp the conviction with which Jormag and Ryland spoke. With that layer in place, that dynamic seems a bit more belivable now, and it is all the more terrifying because of it. Looking forward to see where that story leads now.

I did plan too, and have been holding off on starting that achievement until today, though Arena Net did think about this in advance and have added a replay option in the scrying pool, so by the time I finish the achievement hopefully someone else will have it up, but if not I will put it up! And no problem!

Is Jormag speaking with Kuunavang in EOD trailer? It seems like the same voice to me, now that I had the chance to listen to Jormag more. That changes the story a lot if that is the case.

Jormag’s voice seems to fluctuate from both masculine to feminine. it’s no wonder he’s/she’s referred to as they/gender neutral.

Current Jormag feels like a female. Trailer Jormag felt more masculine. Ofc they don't have a gender, but imo we can say Jormag 'identifies' as a female. Aurene does after all.

I think Jormag's not necessarily a he, but rather a being that doesn't have a human-like gender. That's why the voice sounds so gender-ambiguous.

To add to the comments above; Jormag is the Elder Dragon of Ice and _Persuasion_. It's meant to sound alluring in order to manipulate you. Honestly, I really like it.

Think it is better that she doesnt sound intimidating at all. That is exactly why she is dangerous: She sounds so friendly and trustworthy that people wont notice how she manipulates them.
